I read all the classics to my son. Even Corduroy. We found it thrifted hardcover and like new. The lady selling asked how my son knew Corduroy? Because he got so excited when he saw it. I told her it's important for them to know the classics always first. There will always be references to them in life .
Target has some great Christmas items. They did so well with the gingerbread. I find myself looking at nutcrackers more and more. I wonder if they will be the next craze.
Wonderful video Laura as always. Thank you for all your time in showing us these shopping videos...we truly appreciate it sweet lady❤. Wishing you and your family a blessed and happy holidays....❤
Hi Laura! You had me cracking up when you kept talking about how high up the garlands were in the store, and that no one could reach them! 🤣. I am short and often find myself struggling to reach stuff on shelves, but those garlands and the other items in Target were really were ridiculously out of reach! Thanks for sharing an amazing walkthrough! 😀💗👍🏾
You can paint the gum drops or glue little gems that are your colors over them or little snow flakes from dt on that adorable gingerbread count down. I liked the plain wood manger scene it's really pretty. Love that snow globe, that was weird ... that person talking. Was someone standing near you saying in a weird voice your very beautiful yes ? 😅 It was too funny! I want that TV with gingerbread and pink santa mug picture. I am doing pink and red in my room this year. I guess mushrooms were a thing in Germany where Christmas decor started started. I got 2 of the mug ornaments from Walmart finally, love those. I might do a small haul for fun just to show what I hauled. I am going to the flea market tomorrow. I am going through some Christmas stuff tonight to sell. I got my vintage trees marked down for $5.00 each last year my pink one from Hobby lobby it was chipped a little where the white paint was and on sell I just fixed it. Love those gingys @13:11 What does the mushroom ornament mean in German culture? Googled good-luck symbol In the German and other European cultures, the mushroom is seen as a good-luck symbol - Glückpilz (Lucky Mushroom - colloquial "Lucky Duck, Dog, Devil, etc.") - and is "The Mushroom" of Christmas and the New Year, especially as a symbol of a blessing at the turn of the New Year.
Recently I have so many people hovering right next to me or behind me or sticking their arm out in front of me. Its really annoying because there's no sense of personal space. Thanks for the research about the mushrooms 🍄 lol
@@xlaurax5x3 it was a quick Google I thought it was strange too but I guess gnomes, nature tree, pickles, germans go figure. Lol 😂 Well elbow one of them gently. Just kidding. I hate the crowds but love the Holidays. I saw tge cutest ginger bread manger scene I wanted it so bad but I think it is sort of colorful. I wanted it soo much it's probably gone now. It was $40.00 I didn't have enough money. It was soo perfect. 😟😭💔 Maybe they will get another one. Have a great night!
This year and maybe next year will be Gingerbread, like previous the red truck and gnome.I just keep all neutral ,so year by year I can mix and all won't look same or out of style.People get into what is on social medias and most keep buying and buying and in the next five /8 years you will see the thrift stores full of items that consumers change their style according to their fascination of what is trending. Then people do not have space or waist money into storages to just enjoy for a month or less time during the year.People had turn "trending" ,not wise/smart shoppers.
I loved the ornament that had the bunny and mushrooms inside!!
I did too because I love bunnies. For $3 its not too bad of a price.
Oh all the vintage story book characters thats cool, it will appeal to some older people and kids. I love little red ridinghood.

@@xlaurax5x3 Yes some are kind of dark like Hansel and Gretel but there are bad people out there. It's good you read to your children.

I was thinking the same thing . Personalizing gingy’s in my colors
Thanks for the mushroom 🍄 information
It's funny that gingerbread is in style again. It was big in the 80s, along with geese 😊

Tons of crappy ornaments yet not one cardinal, the bird of Xmas.
