Nice one guys, two Tamiya icons doing their thing! Those Tamiya quick drives were a great gateway drug into the world of Tamiya back in the day. Your restoration was a great success! Surprisingly the blackfoot doesn't look that small against the lunchie! Had to chuckle when I heard you saying the wheels were spinning in the tyres.... we just put out a video about that issue with monster trucks! 😂 👍 👍 👍
The qd’s were 1/14, and the lunchie was 1/12, so they were a good match I thought. The wheel spin is definitely a trait of the tamiya monster truck tires especially when they’re old
Thanks Keith. The little qd turned out great. Even though it’s no speed demon it handles extremely well and is a blast to drive. I couldn’t think of a better truck to run it with than the lunchie..
What a fun pair guys! The QD BF looks fantastic and runs really great! The lunchbox really shitz -n- Gitz! LoL! I remember this older style AA batteries and your right , they do fit a bit differently than the AA’s of today! 👍🏻🌟👊🏼😝
Hey Thad, you did a amazing job on the QD BlackFoot, I'm pretty sure the owner will enjoy running this as well as his grandkids. Take care and again it's nice to see you back in the fold and making videos. Take care and stay safe my friend💯💯💯💯💯
Thanks Al, it was a fun project. Next up is my radio shack golden arrow I got from addam.. side note we’re making 25 lbs of deer summer sausage this weekend with Grayson’s deer.. mmm
Love both of them! Great video, glad to see you putting out some new stuff! I had missed your videos. I never realized AA batteries had changed a bit in size over the years!
Thanks buddy, trying to make more time for making RC videos. Modern AA cases are a bit longer and a bit skinnier than the old ones. What I do to compensate is stretch the springs a bit and put a piece of thin cardboard on top before I close tge battery door and it holds em in place.
Wow รถสวยมากเพื่อน Thank you for sharing ❤
Thanks for watching my friend

Runs great! you guy's have those sweet street jumps man I would be jumping everything on those beauties!!
The curbs definitely make great RC jumps..
Look like fun little RC's! Great looking trucks!
Thanks buddy
2 icons right there. Regardless that it is a Qd, it is awesome to see those 2 together.

It’s strange but something about the cases is different than the old AA’s.. it ain’t fast but it’s fun

A couple Tamiya icons out for a run. Nice!
Definitely classics .. thanks buddy
Great run guys the qd blackfoot is running great
It runs great. I’ve gotta reverse the motor wires because it’s faster in reverse 🤷♂️
Nice to see the qd running around
It’s fun to drive
Nice running video with great comments Thad. I like the comparison to the LB, too
Thanks Dirk. It’s no speed demon but it’s a fun
Little truck
Nice run! Good to see the qd running again!👍😊
We ran til we couldn’t see em anymore 😁
cool rc's and great street run
Thanks Duke
👍☺👍 Id like to have a lunch box someday, looks good in yellow.
They are a blast.
Super fun run! Great to see them together 😊
Thanks my friend. I wish I would’ve had enough AA’s charged to run it won’t qd Blackfoot.. but the lunchbox is the next best thing
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers- when are you going to upgrade your QD? Brushless?
Looks good running around out there! I am sure it will be played with a lot!!
He said his grandkids have taken over his qd clodbuster. So they’ll definitely play with it
Sweet 🔥
The qd Blackfoot is definitely fun , and the lunchbox is always a blast to drive
