Congratulations Raiders fans. The NFL just did you a favor. Gruden was never a good coach anyway, and the fact Raiders management even gave him that big a contract is laughable. The one ring he's got was from the house Tony Dungy built.
I say it over and over. And if the argument was dungy wasn't a good coach , he left went to another organization and won a superbowl.
Tony couldn't win with that same team, and he built the raider team from the ground up that went to the super bowl under Tom Callahan. He was a fantastic coach at some point.

The best news the Raiders have had since the 12-4 season. It was a nostalgic childish hire in the first place. Trade Carr, get draft picks, set up a better organizational structure, a competent GM, and hire a coach from this last decade.

Coaches keep proving that they can’t handle being paid more than players in the NFL. The only way to tame coaches egos is to cap their pay and years on their contracts. Look at the highest paid coaches Gruden, Meyer, Shanahan are losing coaches all three aren’t leading playoff bound teams all have personnel authority and none have proven they can build consistent winners.
Mark Davis told Gruden if he resigns he won't release the other emails but also won't get paid. If Gruden tries to fight for the money he would instantly release the additional emails

Release all the emails.
Never say never. Never think that it's impossible for Gruden to come back to sports or sports media. If Gruden shows remorse & atones for his wrongs, especially if he makes a public spectacle of atonement and he seems sincere, give it a year or two and he'll be back in sports or sports media in some capacity. For guys like Gruden there is always a great measure of grace extended towards them if they seemingly do the requisite redress and self-correction.

I question the entire stable Gruden came up in; a lot of coaches in the NFL associated with Gruden since his NFL inception.
Nobody wants to talk about it...but it's just like the foundation this country was laid on...those who've accumulated generational wealth on the backs of others, maintain their influence and power, going back to our founders, and through the means they've used over the years, and even still to this day, they evolve and change to make certain that they keep their positions by making sure there's no threat to them...talking about starting with lawmakers who "work for us" to the person you see every day...everybody knows our country's history and the effects it's had, but many (not all, but also, not enough) dont want to go in depth and in detail about the ACTUAL TRUTH about it...understandable (there's nothing pretty about it), however, if we cant have a real discussion about something, it will never be solved and/or handled or changed...sadly, I don't think there will EVER be a moment where racism/bigotry/misogyny/homophobia dont exist because they're passed on through generations like heirlooms...it just depends on the individual to have a mind of their own and basically have a heart...but, like we know, too many in positions of power have these opinions and feelings about those who aren't "like them" and are ultimately SCARED of having to experience equality...therefore, I feel we'll NEVER reach that point...maybe until us, (humans) destroy the earth, and it's remade and/or jesus returns for the apocalypse like revelations...whatever, you choose to believe...I know for a fact...best thing I saw was a few years back at a red Sox game...a group of fans were kicked out for telling the truth...they hung a sign over the green monster that said "racism is as American as baseball"...that's the truth...I'd rather live here than any other country, but doesn't diminish or negate this country's history and the EVERLASTING effects of it...the NFL, like most of corporate America, is just another example of that...rich white men making all the money and all the rules...I'm not saying they're the ONLY ones at fault for how things are, but they're DEFINITELY the MAIN ones...but it is what it is...they can enjoy this TEMPORARY life on this earth, but the meek shall inherit it...so we'll get the last laugh (if you believe that sort of thing; to each their own)...just some personal feelings of mine 😉👍😎💯
