If you get a chromecast device plug it into a HDMI port on the TV. As long as your iPhone and chronecast are on the same WiFi network then most streaming apps allow you to cast or mirror the video content to your television.

They all work perfectly in high Def 1080 to 720 and is well worth it just look-up videos on mirroring your device ios or android as android has it all

It's important to note that none of these 'casting" options work unless your TV has wifi.. The direct cable will work even if your phone is the only thing with internet access
Not true. You can use a Chromecast device plugged in to a hdmi socket on the tv and cast to the tv that way. The TV itself doesn’t need an internet or WiFi connection.

I'm typing this through a cordless keyboard, to my laptop that is HDMI connected to two screens.. one of them being a 50" Plasma screen.. but it's not "cast".
@@calholli You’re not extending the screen though like you would in Windows. Casting to a chromecast device just needs the chromecast plugged into the TV on the same WiFi network as your phone. When you cast this way the video and audio only plays on the TV via the chromecast and it doesn’t also play on the phone. You are properly casting or sending the content to a TV when using a Chromecast and it is not a wired connection it uses your WiFi network.

Is there anyway to watch TH-camtv with the hdmi wire. TH-camtv and Netflix don seem to work with these where as TH-cam works very well

Only connecting cable will not work you need app iPhone too to allow the connections.
You can also connect your iPhone to your tv with Bluetooth, no adapters required.

Comments section in the AppStore indicate that AllCast does not work on ios12. Not surprising since it has not been updated for 3 years.

Disney+ will work with a Chromecast device. Just make sure it is on the same WiFi network as your iPhone.
