Without a "big squad" you cant deal with that many games within 2 years. The option would be to run players into the ground. We have some players who needs their minutes managed carefuly. Neto, Nkunku,, W.Fofane, Reece are just a few examples with a "serious" injury background.
Gimmie a break, Noni is not expected to score a hat trick every week the same way Palmer is not expected to have a hat trick of assists every week. Don't hold Noni to a higher standard than you do others.
We are now a crèche for kids, the blue peter club, so Gyokeres is probably just the carrot that’s being dangled on the end of an expertly long fishing rod. We will buy Jhon Duran close to deadline day in January lol. Gyokeres can’t be put on one of those long contracts like the others and I don’t see us signing him for 80 million for 3 years.
