Lol, got warned about corpses then immediately kills something they can’t dismantle with their current knife. At least nothing seems to have spawned, so either you’re lucky or it hasn’t happened yet. Also, I believe the DLC is worth it. Dean Hall and his team have been active on Discord so people like me who enjoy the game knew from the beginning that the DLC’s will be paid. It took them a while to decide on the price and we were surprised at how high it was, but he explained that this was their last major chance to re-launch the game since they’ve been operating at a loss. They’ll continue to update for free, however, and they’re very transparent on their direction and support. They even made sure it would go on sale as soon as it was released and wanted to give a better bundle, but sadly they couldn’t modify the sale price anymore. Also, the best part about the DLC is that only the host needs to have it installed. Everyone else who don’t have it can join someone who has the game and can enjoy it together. If they really wanted money they didn’t need to make it like this, yet they did, so I support them.
That blue snail/blobby thingy reminded me of my friend, Jim. What a character! Always eating and taking other people's stuff.... wait. What THAT Jim? RIBBIT!!!
so.. none of you tells him that- if you're looking the other way you will never find caves :D You're a good speaker man and you got a nice voice. A little less skittish and you'll be fine
The map Looks amazing and we tried the early access when it first came out and it was good but we couldn't save our base but watching this season and last season . it looks like a brilliant game now
Icarusintel if you want a map of Prometheus (click on the funnel symbol to choose which map you want). Caves are marked including size , ore count and worms plus any other relevant info. Some caves you are going to have to mine through the wall, some are open. You'll learn to recognize a walled cave fairly quickly. Its always worth carrying a few ramps, both for mining and getting up and down cliffs/walls. Be carefull in the mines/tunnels - there are drop-offs. Some will kill you, some not, but without some assistance (ramps/poles) you may not get out...
Ah right, I separated this since it’s kinda like a tip, but the Tundra biome is also a good place to set up if you don’t like that purple hue of the Grasslands. It’s not as cold as the Arctic biome and even Cloth armor is enough to regulate your temp (btw, you should really make some cloth armor, it improves move speed and it just costs fiber. Some protection is better than no protection i think), there’s also more trees compared to the Arctic. Just be careful of the Snow Leopards. So far, no Polar bears, but I wouldn’t rule them out. Edit: also, as much as possible, try to aim for the head when you attack. Most things have their head as their weakness so you'll do more damage in general.
There are regular caves you just have to find the right spot and break away stone to get into the hidden ones. There are also ones already open and you just haven't found one yet.
Btw about those caves, i have ruffly set up a camp across for you, i found a spot that looked to be easy to defend. But yeah caves, many of them are in or under water i requmend to use the interactive map, cus you do not see many of them caves if you are on a walkabout@@TBFGaming
Still think your best intro and outro music is the old one, it always make me happy, by a strange reason. But yeah copyright sucks, specially when there actually aren`t any ( Adventures - A Himitsu (No Copyright Music) )😜@@TBFGaming
I do not understand why ppl complain about game prizes. if you see a game that looks interesting, you can either buy it or leave it, it up to you. No one works for free, we all need to have some income in order to progress further. If you are a real gamer, game prizes should never be a issue. Sure devs said that this dlc was free, and then they turned around, and said it had to cost something for new players. Its life guys, it rarely turn out like a dream.
Free to those that bought the Supporters Edition. You also got a better enviro suit to start with - oxygen and water slots in the suit instead of just oxygen. It was always going to be a paid for DLC otherwise.
K frankly i can`t remember that far back. I just buy the full package if i see a game i like, and can enjoy. regardless of the cost, sure i could have got those games cheaper if i had waited. But nah i do not have the patience to wait 😇@@itsmeagain1745
You should have went too this map using ur previous character it's recommended to go to this map using a character with workbenches unlocked the hail storms are going too take alot of ur time
I started over as well. I enjoy the early game and the starting grasslands area is very easy. Plus it helps the viewers learn about the early game. The hailstorms aren't that big a deal. At least the ones I have seen so far.
The downside with that is as long as he still only have wood structures unlocked. he need to repair every ramp/stair in every storm, cus they will be dmg or destroyed. But once he have unlocked stone structures, the idea is defiantly not bad 😉
Anyone complaining about the cost is silly people buy triple a games for 80 bucks with less content then this dlc alone and icurus even before this update was better then alot of triple a games and I only paid 15 bucks for icurus then 25 for dlc if u paid more then 15 it was probably because u waited for the open world update
I have not explored around in open world on this dlc, i have how ever done missions, and think i have seen all the new creatures in this dlc and killed them. But i guess there are a few more i still haven`t seen or killed. I also did create a new character yesterday and build me a small hut in the grassland, in Open world. However since devs said i actually can do mission tru the Open world mode, i am gonna try that. I play survival games like TBF, and we preferer to play survival games from scratch, thats how we enjoy to play. jumping in with a character on lvl 50-60 is cheating if you ask me.
Guess they are okay, not gonna spoil any for you tho. All i am saying, be afraid, be very afraid, some of them are worse than many creatures in ARK modded, nah just kidding, they are a walk in the park, if you know how to take them out, before they take you out 😅 @@TBFGaming
There is a reason the game started with mixed reviews and is now very positive on steam. I do see the complaints about having to pay 25-30 to play the game that was promised to begin with and I think Rocketwerks had a real chance to change peoples feelings about the game and to be honest I think they kinda blew it. That doesn't mean I don't like the content. I just wish they would have gone the No Man's Sky route for a while until they got the game to the place everyone would be happy with.
They actually have been releasing updates for free each week for 90 weeks and are continuing to do so. From the beginning, they did say the two main DLC’s (New Frontier and Dangerous Horizons) will be paid. They were only going to be free for those who bought the Supporter’s edition, while the only DLC that was free for everyone who bought the game early was the Styx map. They’re already operating on a loss and if they go back on their word by making the DLC free instead, it’s going to be questionable if they can continue supporting the game. After all, No Man’s Sky got their funding from their unintended overhyping so many more people bought the game, but Icarus sadly wasn’t able to get the same PR and number of sales.

I do think it is worth it, considering how much time I am putting in!!

haha nice! Thank you Load Toad! Your shorts have been excellent this week! (video shorts, that sounded strange!)

Yeah it is so much better now, would be perfect for your editing style! The open world mission stuff is so good!!
Lol now why did you call that bear Hox TBF. Where you thinking of a "spesial" person maybe😜
Hox13 has a bear issue when we play 7 Days to Die!! It is a bit crazy!

beauti man..
lovin it...
👍💯
Thank you Gildersleeves!
Have a look at the knife symbol when you were trying to skin the slug. 2 chevrons over the symbol means you need a Tier 2 knife.
That is awesome thank you for the tip!

Turn your Gemma down ahaha
It is pretty unbearable to watch with Gamma high, but impossible to see with Gamma down, feels like no win here.
