- Welcome to Day 31 of our Camino Frances journey in 2023! In this video, we walk from Cacabelos to Trabadelo, making a breakfast stop in Villafranca along the way. We decided to take an alternate route out of Villafranca, which led us over the mountains and treated us to some amazing views. For lunch, we stopped at Albergue Lamas in Pradela before continuing on our way to Trabadelo. We arrived in Trabadelo and checked into Casa Susi in the mid-afternoon. After a long day of walking, we washed our clothes and relaxed before enjoying an incredible pilgrim dinner. It was a great day! I'm as cheery as you can be after walking 400 miles! You may be talking about my friend from England (Tinker). He was just having a bad moment. He did well throughout the journey. I ran into them a couple times a week.

It was painful in the evening (it had tightened up). When I woke up and got back on the trail, I was good for most of the day. Remember, at this point, I'm transporting my big pack and carrying a day pack. I plan to carry my bag of all 1000 K this year.
