Just by liking, commenting and so on. This is a special video for the one year anniversary of HoloMyth. I haven’t fallen into the rabbit hole (I think). I even made an effort to write troll subtitles (it’s the English US one). This is the first video in which I played a lot with dynamics, so I think this is a huge step up for me (also new piano soundfont called Yamaha C5 Grand-v2.4.sf2). I also took more time to create a better thumbnail and went out of my comfort zone to learn a new editing software: Davinci. It’s insane how the basic version is free! Previously I only worked with iMovie… Please give me feedback on the changes I made and what I could improve! (Also if you wanna know more about this video, please check out the description!) I wanted to upload a Re:Zero video, but this one had more priority. Speaking of which, I’m sorry if you subscribed because of my Re:Zero content (my last one was four months ago...). The reasons why I hold them off for a bit (other than time constraints) is that 1. I don’t wanna be associated with only Re:Zero (even though it’s my favorite anime) 2. Because it’s my favorite anime, I want those videos to be more special 3. It’s insanely popular, but currently not in the hype (no anime currently airing) 4. I don’t wanna force myself (the next video will hopefully be one, though). If you still support me like a few do, you are a true homie and I honestly don’t even deserve you (shoutouts to ‘Slim Shady’, ‘Banana1242’ and everyone else)! Have a great rest of the day!
The Hinotori Part is now copyright claimed by NexTone Inc. btw. Should I be happy because it means I didn’t do a terrible job on that one? 😂 Luckily I don’t get ad revenue either way but it may affect the algorithm (why couldn’t YT check for claims beforehand, though?) This is not your usual music and this medley combines a lot of different aspects of music so this will be incredibly hard when just starting out. But if you can do it then you’ve definitely accomplished something. If I can help you with anything, then just write a comment (usually on my latest video) and I’ll try to answer asap. I listened to your medley. Luckily Gura and Ina released their song by then so I could cover them, an option you didn’t have :P Myth or Treat is more of like a collab song. Nice work! 3:11 "Does anyone know how to play voices in the same hand with different volumes in Musescore" I know it's been a couple of months since you posted this video, but I'll reply in case anybody else is also curious. Definitely possible to change voicing dynamics, however it is a bit more manual than automatic. Essentially make sure that you have the note(s) selected and the "Inspector" tab open. In the inspector tab, there should be a "Note" grouping and a field to change the "Velocity." By default the velocity is at 0 (regardless of what dynamics you may have set on the score). The field accepts both positive and negative numbers. If greater than 0 you're increasing the dynamics. If less than 0 you're decreasing the dynamics. Not to shamelessly plug, but you can kinda hear it in some of the transcriptions I've done 👀
I actually found out my very next video how to do that. You should check them out to see 👀 No shameless plug from my side either.
