You can make a blueprint of the metal pole so you don’t have to move roofs around to make it fit on corners. With the blueprint you can put those poles down pretty much anywhere you want and it looks neater.

I'm pretty pleased with how well it blends in. The bright bleached colour is a bit full on in the toxic valley sometimes but I think it works ok here. ☺️

NORESPAWNS, is one of my favorite Fallout 76 builders. I actually found Darth Xion's page through watching his. I love watching both TH-camrs now!! Great work as always
those little half size chain links cover a multitude of sins XD i wish there were some half size brick, wood and metal sheet walls like that. it would add so much give for builders.
There was a couple of half size wooden walls that I had in FO4 that were a godsend for that. Especially as they were freely placeable. I think most of them were modded in from other areas of the game but there was definitely one that was part of the vanilla building tools.
@@DarthXionGames yeah I miss even the planks that were designed for those canopy walls that had a half floor attached. You know those little end pieces you could pillar glitch to cover basically anything you wanted to be scrapping patched up. I miss that wall. And that glitch...
Plywood and other things you could build walkways out of and the freedom to build structures out of random materials are what I miss lol. I have a feeling that level of flexibility is going to be a thing of the past though. We don't know much about Starfield outposts yet but I'd imagine it probably won't be as flexible as FO4. TES6 has some interesting potential depending on which way they go with it.
Good looking build. Wonder if one of the more scrappy generations would have looked a bit better than the solar power generation? Meh that one looked good as well just a thought.
Good build, but all I can think: how'd they get the huge fridge up those rickety stairs to that tree house.. hope that floor's reinforced ;) Must be getting old.
Have you tried out the "Freecam" option they added in December? There should be a "Change View" option at the bottom of the screen in build mode. That might help you get a better look at what you are doing. There are settings in the gameplay menu that you can use to fine tune it too if you need.
@@DarthXionGames I was unaware that freecam was used for that purpose, I will check that out. Incidentally i had a video suggestion to watch your video on this issue from multiple console types, That video helped a great deal. I'm a new sub and am inspired by your video's for my downtime relaxation
Welcome aboard! ☺️ I think freecam will probably be particularly helpful to controller users based on what I've seen of it. It feels a bit strange with mouse and keyboard though. The camera will pass through walls and furniture though which should help if you're struggling to get your character somewhere that lets you see what you're doing.
I like this build. I don't think that I've ever built anything in that part of the map. I might have to give it a go. Do you have any plans for this seasons reward? The Nuka planters look like a scrappy fence line to me.
I do t have anything specific in mind yet but I'll probably do something with them. There's a few things on the scoreboard I'm looking forward to unlocking.

Love the camp, may just have to have a play with the set myself, i've just been using it as a kids play area in some camps I already had built.

It can take some getting used to. The system does click after a while though then you're good to go.

I use Davinci Resolve to edit. Great piece of software with everything you could need in one place and it's free.
