Be it the peaceful prayer hall,.. the talk about 'reyso', the products handcrafted,.. the water colors paintings, (which reminded me of my art class),.. the so much north eastern style kitchen layout,.. and the food prepared,.. Ofcourse, the beautiful fog,.. the drive,.. the tea amidst clouds, and ya the so very buttery short bread.. Truly meditative.... Extending greetings, on this special day... for adding to the learning of so many people... :)

I think one web series of Huma Qureshi had some scenes shot at Margaret's deck .... Not sure though..... Nice shots Anubhav. You don't spoil the originality of the place and show us the most raw form of it, that is what I like the most in your videos. Also, you give so much of space to local travellers and tour guides.... So serene and so calm.... Quite a treat to senses.
Margaret's Hope is well described in Rituparno Ghosh's film Titli by Urmila(Aparna Sen), Titli's(Konkona Sen Sharma) mother. I would recommend you to watch the film to feel Kurseong in a different way.

If I'm not wrong Naga people's Akhuni is what we say Kinema. They've a delicious dish, Akhuni or Kinema cooked with Pork meat. Though never tried. Please ask them about it in your next visit to the Land of NAGAS.
