They are excellent swimmers and divers... yeh apkey mini zoo mein nai rehsakta kyunke iski diet manage karna difficult hoga isko jagah kafi chaye natural environment... yeh wild bird hai and its better to release him in wilderness... but one thing u can do is ke iska treatment karlein kyunke jisney bhi gift kiya hai yan jahan se bhi yeh aya hai unhon ney isko galat taareqey se handle kiya hoga pakra hoga or ab yeh shaid urr na paye sahi se... but still survive karjayega water bodies mein.

Hi!.. i wanted to inform that the bird you got is called little grebe and it is an aquatic animal. They are similar to ducks but they are not exactly ducks as they are often confused with ducks. It is a bird that is almost extinct, so i suggest you should keep it healthy and alive, or give it to the animal rescuers. Whatsoever, the major food habitat of these are aquatic insects, crustaceans, small fish, leeches; also eats mollusks, frogs, tadpoles, salamanders, spiders, small amounts of aquatic plants. Like other grebes, swallows many feathers, and feeds feathers to its young. Hope this helps!...and good luck with this new creature!!.. lots of love from india!!..
