So glad you did this video thought I was losing my mind but just got diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism after every doc said oh we're all going through menopause.
Excellent video! I've shared this with my family, friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter because I believe that it is so important that everyone knows about this. I have Hyperparathyroidism myself and can attest to how awful it is. Before I started getting these symptoms, I didn't know about hyperparathyroidism. Heck, I didn't even know that people had parathyroid glands. It just isn't talked about often enough. Thank you for putting these videos out there!
High BP crisis. Post MP. PTH low, many symptoms hypercalcemia. Years Calcium 9.2 slowly to 10.2 (still normal range). Can thyroid nodules cause similar symptoms or get both checked? Exhausting journey!
How long does it take for the remaining parathyroid glands to start working properly again ,in 3 months post surgery, and the anxiety and leg oain etc is still going on Does it take time to adjust?
I am having the same symptoms, my calcium is too high ( between 2.55 and 2.80) since 6 years ( I am 53 and postmenopausal), my fosfor is low, zink low, magnesium low, PTH NORMAL and vit D also normal. My doctors conclusion: WE KEEP AN EYE ON THE CALCIUM and that's it.......... I get so frustrated !!! In the UK and US are good specialists but I am from Belgium and here it looks like there are no groups to find about hyperparathyroid and I don't have a clue who can help me. Does anyone know a good doctor in Belgium who I can trust in this?
So wrong about menopause and HRT! It is EASY to treat, NOT difficult. Study Dr Louise Newson podcasts on youtube to get well-informed with up-to-date, evidence-based information about body-identical HRT. Hyperparathyroid needs one kind of treatment. Menopause another.

I would check your iodine levels or your adrenals related cortisol levels.
