I don't think enough people got to see advertising etc. I only just discovered this movie on Netflix n I want more I literally cried when it was over n I googled if there'd be another film.

Which it seems like vampire academy was smart to do by avoiding a 2015 release date for movie 2 of vampire academy’s second movie frostbite. They could still do frostbite if they just release it and develop it when other movie franchise based on books aren’t rolling out any more movies it would gain more fans and easier to sell a lot more tickets since it would be competing with all the non popular movies that aren’t even popular to begin with and IAm talking about the movies that are just there for people to watch when there’s nothing else to watch there are just some movie franchise that take longer to finish with all movies because they avoid releasing movies during popular movies based on books. Iam 100% sure they could still finished a lot of the movie franchises that flopped they did with divergent and divergent kind of flopped just as bad vampire academy for some fans yet they still let it continue with all books turned into movies. I can't wait for Frostbite, although they might have messed this dream scene up. Rose is learning to use the stake and when she has the theory, Dimitri let's her stake some dummies (this is after a fight with her mother) when she has staked a couple and done it right she asks to stake one that has the same hair as her mother and Dimitri replies with "I don't think that would be healthy."

Tamara Sojanovic there was an operation thing going on where you would donate them money but I'm not sure if they succeeded in the amount they needed. It could have have been like Veronica Mars were they got 10 million dollars from their fans for the Veronica Mars movie or they might have only got just enough or not enough. To be perfectly honest, I want there to be a Frostbite movie as well, just so I can see my fantasies come to life and the things I mentioned above about everything wrong with the movie aren't big plot changes they just annoyed me. So they shouldn't have any trouble making a second movie. However even if they have the funds to make Frostbite they might not have a production company willing to make it, so I guess we have to wait this one out. Although I don't want to see Mason die. I get what you mean but roses whole world revolved around lissa. she protected her and put her first, but as the stories progressed rose learned that she doesn't always have to put lissa before her. lissa needs to do some things on her own and rose deserves her own happiness and choices.

I mean look at the time frame between Maze runner the scorch trials and the death cure,then look at who did Harry Potter movies 1-3 and Harry Potter movies 4-8,hunger games series ,Divergent series,Twilight Saga,The Chronicles of narnia...etc... a lot of other franchises just might take a joint effort where one person starts the franchise then someone else finishes it like the others that went switch up who made the movies there could just be movie based on book series that are unfinished for movie franchises that are waiting for someone in the Movie world to need an idea and then that person could try a couple of sequels to the other ones that need them. Sometimes it takes movie franchises based on books to finish because they made to be made by the right person plus the world is unknown for reviving old ideas and then finishing the idea later on because it takes longer to think of a good storyline to try out. Espeically one that would be worthy of a Sequel to follow the first movie to a movie franchise based on a book series....etc... someone could still continue it one day so I wouldn’t lose hope

I agree I feel like they cast the right actors but wrote the characters wrong, Rose more than Dimitri and in doing so they also took away some of the depth their relationship has in the books through Zoey and Daniel's chemistry does manage to make of for some of that. Nothing make's up for the lack of sass and snarkiness in Rose nor the change in her motivation at some points of the story.
I wish they thought the movie out better. I loved all the characters but the movie was rushed. I got my best friend addicted to the series but she disliked the Dimitri they put in the movie but I thought it worked out
