Terisa... If your reading this. I want you know to never take your safety off. You are so amazing and I love your poems so much 💕💕💕. You are so beautiful and this is so beautiful just like ever single poem I have watched of yours ️and whenever I come onto This channel I always look for your new poem because they have never let me do 😻😻😻😻😻. Love this so much. 😸love you so much 😸. Stay exactly who you are 💚💚💚💚💚.
I was scared of reading the comments, Terisa, because normally on youtube there is a whole list of people just waiting to tear down these kinds of videos, but the comments below mine give me hope. Very poignant piece of poetry, sister!
I've resolved to never shave anything for anyone besides myself, but sometimes I have moments of weakness. At those times I'm going to pull up this poem again, because it gives me strength. Thank you.
This is amazing. I will never shave my bottom half just because a man doesn't find it attractive. If they don't like me because of it they don't deserve to see me naked anyway
I feel like we move too fast and then have the audacity to have expectations of others when we have not even fulfilled all expectations to self however it makes heart felt writing.
This is everything. A few years ago I had a boyfriend who wouldn’t go down on me because I hadn’t shaved. It broke down my self confidence and made me ashamed. This is a reminder to all women that their body is theirs alone.
Called poetry. Called what a true poet is supposed to do. A true poet whispers or screams a path depending on your experiences or memories. They provide the odyssey through their choice of words perhaps guiding the listener or reader into what they hope you will follow and not question the paths or even the destination but marvel at the journey which got you there. She definitely did her job in using the craft!
I always find it interesting that a lot of women feel pressured to shave. As a male, I shave because I don't like hair. I mean small hair is fine, as long as it's not a forest. Hell I even want to wax. So what's up with shaving?
deleteaman idk man, body hair is taboo but sometimes it's a lot more comfortable than shaving. like I *just* learned how to shave without all those little red bumps showing up and I'm still not very comfortable shaving all the time.
its a SCIENTIFIC FACT that shaving makes the genitals prone to many microbial infections. Not only that it can also lead to some allergy. U can fact check it if u want
I like it, but "go for a run" I'm disabled and I know not everything can be all inclusive. Everything is usually from an ableist view, and regarding wealth privilege as well -we don't talk about. I used to diet when I didn't pay rent now I wish I had that food.
Anastas Miller-Csapo I shave between my legs. I don't like my body hair to get too long, especially in the summer because it can cause a lot of perspiration and uncomfort.
I have a lot of respect for the poets who can bring up taboo topics this eloquently.
Especially! Hell ya man, I agree. Much respect.
"Imagine what he was taught your body should look like"
This poem is simply beautiful
"Contemplate how you're gonna explain to him your queerness without using the words 'bisexual' or 'confused'." so accurate.
I could feel that line in my bones
Yes!!!! "...you will not sleep with any body if they try to convince you the war wasn't real."
"The kind of hate that makes you feel more at home and less like the floor boards." Love that part.
"your insecurity is not a diet plan" wwoah.
1. This poem is just amazing
2. I really like how that there is camera movement instead of it just being static. It's a small but powerful change.
"Your body needs your voice".
Terisa thank you so much for this..👏
Girls there, MUST WATCH!
Wow! This piece is not just for bisexual or lesbian women; it speaks to all women. Well done, friend. Some lines had me transfixed into imagery.
'the war yours has survived.." So brave and SO powerful!

This explains so much of who I've been and why I am where I am now.
I've resolved to never shave anything for anyone besides myself, but sometimes I have moments of weakness. At those times I'm going to pull up this poem again, because it gives me strength. Thank you.
"Pick it up and fight ! " this just hit home
This poem is EVERYTHING!!!
This is amazing. I will never shave my bottom half just because a man doesn't find it attractive. If they don't like me because of it they don't deserve to see me naked anyway

"Burn your body into a desert nobody can survive in" chillsss
Wow that was powerful! What a message, what a voice, what talent. Bravo!
This is everything. A few years ago I had a boyfriend who wouldn’t go down on me because I hadn’t shaved. It broke down my self confidence and made me ashamed. This is a reminder to all women that their body is theirs alone.

Thats what happens when you're running
LOL I appreciate the feedback. Be well!
I think that's exactly what I loved about it :)
I disagree, it has a pretty consistent theme, which is body insecurities and fighting those feelings.

Wait, there are people who shave between their legs? What?
Anastas Miller-Csapo I shave between my legs. I don't like my body hair to get too long, especially in the summer because it can cause a lot of perspiration and uncomfort.
Hey,she a Poly/islander..
Fuck double standards, woman deserve road head too! LOL
This was a beautiful poem. For real.

I personal liked being shaved, but women are a lot less caring about wether their female partner shaves or not.
