Oh my Giddy Aunt, what a find and what incredible presented food. This looks Top Notch, the whole bulbs of garlic are a classic touch and the dish of Mozzarella looked the dogs bollocks. I could see the whole meal being washed down with a bottle or two of Amorone della Valpollicella. This resto has just been added to the bucket list for our next visit to the Neon lit City. The garlic is soft and spreadable on the steak like butter, which the chef advised me to do. A top find Charlie you'll enjoy the A5 Japanese Wagyu. All of these places are quality and I'm going to have to extend the 5 to 10 lol.

Spent more money in the Bazaar than anywhere .Never once felt disappointed what i bought .Shorts/T-shirts/belts/Carry on suitcase etc etc .After 1pm when most stalls are open .I know nothing about Steaks Nick ,last one i ate was over 25 years ago 🤦♂And at that price i'd eat Thai every time 🤣And i can count on both hands when ive eaten McDonald's in my lifetime just in case i get a reaction 🙄

My mouth was watering during your video Nick and I tasked my son to head down the shop to fetch some Wagyu ;-) Also your rib eye looked quite fatty but still delicious. I was once told by a well known fine dining stakehouse (Kingsleys) in Sydney that wagyu rump is the best cut of wagyu and recommended to be cooked medium for the best marbleisation effect. Anyway looks like Patrick has got some competition now 🙂
Hi Nick & Lucas, I must say that meal looks absolutely fantastic and the quality and presentation I will have to try this place when I return to Pattaya as for the cost you could not get quality at home for that price. I have to say my Thai wife best friend in Thailand lives in Bangkok used to have big job with Bank loves trying different food and price took us to a Japanese Restaurant in Bangkok and she ordered Kobe Beef Steak it was like no other I had tasted absolutely amazing even if you only do once what an experience. I did not see the final bill she paid very generous. My wife nearly had heart attack because she got allergies to beef and red meat. I think she said the steak 5000bth very expensive but Wow what an culinary experience. Please pass on to Lucas our thoughts and prayers ( even thought i am not religious) to Vee hoping she gets better soon. It’s good to good friends during this sad time. I'm finally back next Sunday 11th should be at hotel by 3pm so shower then straight to A7 for the live show after years of watching the channel. Last time I was in Thailand was March 2020 when everything went wrong and it cost a fortune to get home. Also can you share a rough ball park figure for those shirts? I'm tempted to go as they look very comfy.

Just a disclaimer and trying to put into context, I use one of those air fryer/grills and as long as you season the steak properly and know how to time how long it needs to stay on each side, I can still get awesome grill marks and the right tenderness and flavor. Now with that outta the way in my opinion charcoal is the superior way to grill steaks of superior quality and price. The downside of charcoal is more wait time and once you use it it's gone. No way am I knocking them for cooking such an expensive meat that way, just one of those my 2 cents kinda thing. I'm sure it was delicious.

Yeah this guy is French and Patrick is Belgium. And hang on, there is a lot more to come from this steak series. Friday's episode is steak at Cafe Blu, Blu also has probably the best restaurant in Pattaya called Cafe Des Amis Fine Dining. I have Kobe steak to find yet! Enjoy and thanks.

Ribeye is always a fatty cut but the fat is like butter with a quality cut like this and tastes delicious. 👍

The A5 Japanese Wagyu was about £48 but it is absolutely delicious and you won't find this quality in the UK for that price.
