- Finally RG GUNDAM ASTRAY GOLD FRAME AMATSU MINA has been finished!! Gross black and gold colored gundam is attracting all the builders all over the world. As you know its original color is yellow like curry powder. But I sprayed the gold color for gold frame. Now it's bling bling real gold frame!! Check real gold frame in the video.

Why did you spray it when it's still on the runner? What about the nub mark when you cut it? Did you spray it again after sanding?

Perhaps I should do the same with RG Strike Freedom's inner frame once I buy it: paint over that curry gold.
So, which gold paint would you use if you're painting RG SF's inner frame? And I heard painting the inner frame would negatively affect its articulation. Is that true?
BTW, great build as always.
+The Harunate spraying is not good for inner frame.
So, it's true, then. Which means instead of painting the whole inner frame, it might be better just to paint on certain spots where they're going to be visible from behind the outer frames (safest bet is paint the E plates).
I don't recommend it. The Advance MS Joint frames are made out of two kinds of plastics: ABS and Polypropylene. Certain paints will destroy ABS plastic, while paint does not adhere well on polypropylene plastic

Yes, I know. I thought he would go straigth to paint it gold. But he paint it glossy black first, then the metallic gold. Is it to add more glossy effect or to cover the original color first?

its better when you put panel line marker brown to the gold parts.
At 1:51 to 1:59 is that the Champagne Gold and the 2:00 to 2:04 is that the metallic gold and what brand of spray did u use i love the gold you use and i want to use them too. :)

I think the first three is not champagne gold, but metallic gold. the last one i think the original color from bandai. champagne gold give color like titanium gold, more silver than gold color
Really late on this and I don't know if anyone already answered you, but looks like he's using Tamiya brand spray paints. I use the same brand for my kits since the colors match up really well and they have a huge range of colors/shades.
