That chord when the strings first come in at 0:39 feels sooo good.
The John Williams vibes in this are so good. Awesome work!!
A lot of this reminds me of John Williams. Really well done!
Very nice. I'm impressed. The ending came as a bit of a surprise - almost as if the file had been arbitarily chopped. My ears were expecting more. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed this.
It would work well going directly into a light quick 2nd movement methinks.
Very nice 👍I hear John Williams-Vibes 😉 So good!
I was thinking John Williams, too. However, that's not a bad thing!
Beautiful harmonic language. Reminds me of the epics of old
This is so amazing! You really know how to utilize the BBCSO to its fullest extent!
I always loved your compositions so much! You are the reason I bought BBCSO Core back then, keep the great work!
Sensationell !!!
This is beautifulll
Great work! Good use of the tempo track, too!
Fanfare!
Loved it! ❤🎉

Is this the out of the box mix? Incredible work here but something just doesn't hit quite right in that opening brass bit. We're getting some phasing that shouldn't be there, like I'd expect to hear if I accidentally enabled 2 of the same instrument around the same range. Layering brass in the same range can be dangerous, or the sampled sections just aren't great out of the box.
Also sounds like it should be an FF/FFF section, but the samples just can't do that. Might look into some free/cheap options to get more dynamics out of the brass. The Free Orchestra by Project Sam has a nice epic brass patch, or perhaps the Brass Patch from Orchestral Tools Berlin Inspire. The Orchestral Tools Majestic Horn could also be layered in on the cheap if the sections just won't blend right.
Unfortunately BBCSO Brass doesn‘t convince as other libraries do. I tried to layer both naturale and muted instruments to achieve a better result but as you said something isn‘t quite right. For mic positions I used Tree and Ambient… maybe that‘s causing the phasing too.
Nevertheless the goal was to only use this library.

Makes sense, thanks for clarifying.
Learned from Beethoven fifth repeating the doorknocker it's nice needs counter melodie maybe woodwinds or modulation to.
