    Thanks for the video, Ratel. From what I could see in the video is that the AI are doing well at taking cover, when fired upon. They do make an effort to engage the human player but they are lacking in navigating objects and entering buildings to pursue a player. You will have to do more testing, so far, so good!

    Good to see some fellow Zaffers playing Reforger. I'm contemplating on buying it. Do you have your own server? If not I can host a local one if need be :)

    May i ask you? Are you using reshade or color edit in software video editing? Because the colors looks vibrant and cartoonish

      Hi, I have an Radeon RX 590 FatBoy. No you do not need RTX for this to work.

      @@sabtgamingza6927 Wow, their new game engine was so impressive. It looked like a ray tracing game enabled by Unreal Engine 5. And also, I researched that this new game engine uses Enfusion Engine, which makes it very realistic. I love what I see in other videos, where players can now easily detect the location of gun fire by just analyzing the sound. Just like in real life. I’m so excited for Arma 4 to be released next year. :-( It’s so far away from the release date, so please make more videos playing Reforger. I am so hyped. Just like how hyped I feel with Cities Skylines 2 games, Arma 4 is added to my waiting list 🙂

      The Enfusion Engine is amazing and the sound effects are cool! I am also really excited for Arma 4, but we patiently await news on the release date. For now, Reforger will have to do, check out the other Reforger videos in the Arma Reforger playlist on this channel as well : ) Will do, thanks!

      @@PredictAnythingSoftware the cross-play between PC and Xbox in Arma Reforger, brings a lot more players into the Arma space, which is good. The Xbox guys won't necessarily create the missions but they fill servers up. Check here: th-cam.com/video/wb9iOomnjXU/w-d-xo.html

      Close range they are ok, at distance they are bad.

    so if it's a test of the AI, as soon as the first baps from your rifle hit their ears, they'd be down on the fucking ground, right?
    as soon as unknown shots are heard in a warzone, you get to cover, yes? military people may help me out with some friendly advice that no, standing around for a while is alright when taking fire because hey, maybe you're NOT taking fire, and you're allowed to look around first . . . but come on. that's why they're dead.
    I think you're supposed to be extremely alert about stuff like that. it wasn't that far away. the sound would hit their ears quick enough to think and react. so not a great representation of reaction time with the AI, imo, but maybe it's very realistic. I shrug.

      Hi Bijibadness. Thank you for the comment. If your expectation is that they would hit the ground or run for cover, that is not necessarily the case. What they will do is start to return fire (pretty accurately) and move/flank towards your location. At 04:10 you will see them bunch behind a power box and take a form of cover. With less obsticles in the way, they are more effective. They are not great, but they are not as stupid as AI from the past as well, so I look forward to their development : )

    In real life them tango's would be trying to flank you.

      Yes indeed, that was what I was hoping would happen. I do the tests for our Game Master events so that I know what to expect from the AI.

      @@sabtgamingza6927 yes like any real live fire fight the AI would hit the deck or take cover and try moving around flanking you, they just run at you like moving targets waiting to be popped off.
