I had to come back today to finish 😅. You mentioned that you feel like food gets saltier the longer it sits. You’re not wrong! Our taste buds are better able to pick out flavors as food gets closer to room temperature. That’s why they put so much sugar in ice cream and cold drinks - we can’t taste the sweetness as well. When you let the ice cream melt it tastes crazy sweet. Or when your tea or coffee cools down you taste and identity the flavors much better. There I go with my nerdy useless info 😂 but it’s super interesting!
My mum teach me how to cook. And i remember everything she told me. Your dumplings are like we call spinners. I am right I kneed the flour and round it up in my hands. But I am learning another way I don’t season my dumplings but I know your cooking is real good. You can cook! ❤

You add milk and butter to your dumplings? I just use water. I just said that your videos are very informative. I know everyone cooks differently. And I know that it taste delicious when it’s all cooked. I am good I had a flare up earlier today. I took a painkiller and try sleep off the pain. Girl the weather over here is not nice at all the temperature is low abs it’s bitterly cold. I did my table for Christmas. I will not let anyone let me not enjoy my Christmas Day. I enjoy my own company and I would not feel good going to no friends or family home. I have everything that I need. Just feel blessed to see the day because not everyone lives to see a Christmas Day. Sure is a blessing. ❤❤
I like chicken and dumplings. I like a lot of black pepper on my dumplings when on the plate. I like sweet red wine also. My favorite is Sangria. That's a pretty wine bottle. I taste different salts. Never tried that one. I may buy and try. I listen to your videos when working. Leslie take door dash orders $6 and up because some people don't tip or give small tips. Grocery store, CVS, Liquor stores and 7/11 spots are better for me. You will learn areas where you don't want to accept orders because of cheap tips. UPS has an app. Try different delivery apps.

Never made chicken and dumplings- but my family is Haitian so we make another similar boiled dumplings in soup. We call our dumplings “doumbrey” (sounds like dumboy). Haven’t had it in years now I’m inspired to make it 🥹
