looking forward to the results ;). I am 65 now and have resisted TRT replacement as I like to do everything possible to get my body to do what it needs to naturally… but maybe I should remain open minded to testosterone as I want to continue to be active in ways that I used to take for granted. Thanks man!
I got the same kit, and tried to extract blood using the extraction tools provided. I could hardly get a drip going to extract enough to fill one of the chambers by a long shot. I did raise the issue issue with their support, who offered another kit. But I was so frustrated at the extraction method, and the fact it didn’t work, regardless of the fact I followed the instructions to a T. Maybe it’s just me, but getting blood out of me via needles, has always gone smoothly. You’re right about the NHS, as I asked three separate doctors to test me, and gave valid reasons to do so, but they weren’t having it. One GP said they had better things to do with their money. I said low T has many negatives in men, including higher chance of heart disease, and subsequently a cardiac arrest. I don’t know how much truth there is to this, but the GPs told me that the kits don’t test the full range in your blood, that a NHS test does. Something like that, can’t remember exactly what he said.
There are some techniques that will help. Drink lots of fluids the day before and in the morning before test. Warm hands under running hot water just before testing. Squeeze at base of finger and pull down. It will work.
I did the test, my levels on are the floor at 5. I drink a fair bit, but fuckinell - I wondered why im so damn tired all the time. I booked to have the more comprehensive test next.
I'm 5ft 10 and 112kg and train 5 times a week. I look like a rugby player, someone who goes to the gym. I'm 47 years old so supposedly in the sweet spot for who I th8ikn these tests are aimed at. Overall I'm in fairly good shape and have been for years. I've never taken PEDs. Mine came back with a few markers on my live and kidneys, but my Testosterone levels were low. It had me wondering a lot about these types of tests. I know people who have done them, and are now TRT from the results of the test. Personally, I'm just not convinced on these. Other markers were interesting, but a lot of people almost use it as an excuse to get on TRT (rather than take steroids) like its some sort of phycological way for them to say to themselves its ok, it TRT, not steroids. I wonder if this is the latest and greatest as part of the usual 'snake oil sales'. Like Protein shakes, bars, creatine etc etc.
Its TRT. If you need it and think it will help then great. If not then no problem either. I don't think it is snake oil. TRT has a lot of medical studies showing great efficacy. If people wanted to run some gear they would just buy it at the gym. Why bother with all the hassle of testing if they just want to cycle some test?
That is strange. I played it back post edit and it was fine! I will reupload tomorrow. Maybe it got corrupted on the upload.. This has happened a couple of times recently.
@@thatgearguy I don't think it's worth a reupload. It's quite interesting actually and may even generate more interest on the video. Personally I would leave it up. It could be corrupted but some parts distinctly sounded like speech. There's even what sounds like a female voice in one part! Maybe send it to a paranormal clips channel?
Hi there That Gear Guy, what ever your name is. Some time ago having realised from your back ground I did request that you do a testosterone video .Thanks for telling them how important it really is.
I had one if your videos about US vs UK gun guys pop up earlier, so, when I saw your mug pull up, I thought I was clicking on that video. Some shit comes up at work so I had to step away. As I sit down to eat my lunch, I suddenly witness TGG squeezing blood out of his fingertip. Not the video I was expecting. Still, good stuff, man. More dudes should be aware of this.
I'm about a year younger than you at 47, I'm pretty sure my Testosterone levels are okay but for that little money I'd like to be sure as good luck getting it checked on the NHS.

Hi mate is there a update video soon 👍
Working on it!
Great video mate. Lots of strange speech in the video that your camera picked up. Don't think you were alone filming this!

I heard 'errors' and 'sheep' as you were drawing blood 😮
Good information there
Glad it was helpful!
Men should stop walking around with a smart phone in there trouser pocket
Great balls of fire 🤣
Defiantly

I have always wanted to do one but previously the tests I saw were expensive. This one was much more affordable..
Mate there are some weird poltergeist noises going on in your video
I heard that too. Very strange indeed. There's some sort of incomprehensible speech throughout.
Yeah there are. I heard “errors,” “basically,” and then some weird “eee eee eee” sounds. Heard it in the background too. Wtf

Haha! Yeah different vid!!

I'm telling you, those crooked baseball caps are your trademark 😂
It's a shame they don't have instant kits, just like for sugar level.
You want how much blood?
Have you gone raving mad!?! That’s very nearly a finger full!
(With apologies to Tony Hancock)
@@longjonwhite 😅🤣
Do they ship the test to Germany?
I would doubt it due to travel time. But I bet Germany has similar clinics?
i only test positive for high levels of tomblerone
The triangular chocolate!
What on earth is that sound?
@@marble296 The ghost of TRT!
Isn't it a simple blood test on the NHS through your GP if you present with major symptoms?
Good luck persuading them!
