That lift in the atmosphere at 2:04 coupled with the fact that the Caribbean Sea has the warmest water temperatures in the Western Hemisphere means this thing could rapidly intensify and perhaps that’s what the long range is indicating.

As my retirement is within just a few years from now, and having had my house and everything I owned destroyed by hurricanes three times in Florida, I am now thinking of moving to another state.
I wish there was somewhere to find out which state has the least destructive weather, so I could move there after checking it out personally. Losing all my property three times to hurricanes is enough for me...

About 5" of rain washed away and trashed parts of Roswell, NM. It was pretty bad. Theres YT videos on it. It was a surprise to most people over there from what I gather.
Pretty safe to assume that the tropical season is over for the US. Although the season goes through November rarely does a tropical system affect the US due to the strong cold fronts coming down south in the east.
You know, on the one hand, I really don't want this heading towards Florida again, but at the same time, I don't want the people in the Carribbean to suffer either.
