From what I remember it actually delays ignition until the exhaust valve is about to open, so combustion continues even in the pipe to the turbo. This increases exhaust velocity but decreases power when active.

Don't know what people thought about these cars when they came out but I think they look great and (except for the Diplomat) wherent afraid to be sporty. Nowerdays it's just french SUVs and compact cars, downsized I3 Turbo engines that in my opinion are build stupid. And every "different" model is almost the same if you strip away the plastics.
@@leogreck9984 could get a manta B and do a Manta 500 conversion on it. The Opel GT was also a very beautiful car if you can find one. The Monza had a lot of potential too, maybe lexus V8 potential. Would love to see what you end up doing, good luck, 👍😃

So let's say like I hope 2 years. However the first thing I actually wanna do is LS Swap my Opel Omega B.
