You’re the only teacher that shows mistakes, or oopsies... and always show your solutions. I for one appreciate that part. It makes you so human while keeping your high star status. It creates a connection with your student quilters.
That looks great however for me to "uniformed" for a crazy quilt. My idea of a crazy quilt is any shape, any colour and just go with it. JMO. You do what you want!
At the bottom of your box, you maybe can put a "silicone carpet with a lot of hole" so youwill be able to see the pieces letters but it won’t slide. You buy that"carpet" at Dollar Tree. Excuse my English but I am a French speaking and I don’t know the real name of carpet but you puts in drawers.
It is so much easier to add any size or shape of scrap, no measuring or cut before sewing, plus no waste, we're supposed to use whatever scraps we have. I'm sorry, I don't want to sound mean but I think that this dies are a waste of time and money and takes away the fun of making a crazy quilt. Yes, I just read what I wrote and it sounds mean. Very sorry. Love love love Eleanor, she was my inspiration to start quilting when I found her and Orion! On PBS, 1984, I think, I recorded all her shows and still have the VCR tapes. 💝💝💝💝💝

Very good idea ... but it was SO much fun to see her assistant trying to keep chasing/pulling the quilt. Looked like a ‘tug of war’.
