- Yogananda said: Each of these chants should be sung not once but many times, utilizing the cumulative power of repetition, until the singer feels a great joy break through the radio of his heart. When this joy is felt it is proof that God has answered the devotee, and that his devotion has been properly tuned and the broadcasting of his ardor in chants has been true and deep.
When these chants are repeated in solitude or in congregational singing, with great devotion, it will be found that the songs subconsciously repeat themselves in the background of the mind bringing great joy even when one is in the thick of the battle of activity.
I have used these chants thousands of times with large American audiences and have seen infinite divine benefits showered on the sincere devotees who chant the Lord’s name with love.

Hi Kavita, we are using the altar which Yogananda himself used, and which was in use in all his centers during his life time. Because he taught that Babaji is an incarnation of Krishna he only had a picture of Babaji on the altar. SRF/YSS later added Krishna to the altar (around 1958 or so).

@delaramwakefield3989 : You are correct, as it was founded by Sri Kriyananda, who left SRF some years ago - however the people of Ananda Village are devout devotees of Paramahansa Yoganandaji, who is their guru
@@dld5697 Parmahansa Yoganananda chose SRF as his ONLY rightful organization authorized to teach his scared teachings. That was his wish. It would be not right to represent his teaching through Ananda and profit from it in any form. It is surprising that Ananda is printing and selling Autobiography of a Yogi and profiting from it knowing the laws of karma and believing that Yogananda is their guru. Does not all devoted devotees of Ananda feel moral and right about it? SRF is the only authorized and legal presentation of Yogananda’s teaching, taking it away from social med club of Ananda.
@@delaramwakefield3989 well, I am SRF, & though it is not SRF sanctioned, it is my understanding that our guru Paramahansaji had a wish to have an actual community & thus the Ananda Community was started in that spirit after Paramahansaji's mahasamadhi. Living in this area, I have visited Ananda over the years. I did Hatha & Raja Yoga teacher training there, and some years later, when they were young, my children attended their schools, based on the teachings of Paramahansaji. Though again, I am SRF for many years, & had no attachment to Sri Kriyananda, the founder of Ananda Sangha, who left his body some years ago, I have found Ananda Village to be a place of positivity & beauty, with deeply devoted devotees of Paramahansa Yogananda and the lineage Masters. As for karma, might I respectfully remind you: "Judge not - lest ye be judged", is it not?" Bless you though for your love of Paramahansaji who manifested divine, unconditional love for all.

Why is the picture of Lord Krishna, on the alter as Paramhansa Yogananda ji had kept?
Yoganandaji didn't have a picture of Krishna on the altar, actually. He said that Babaji was the reincarnation of Krishna. Our altar is how it was during Yogananda's lifetime. SRF/YSS changed it around 1958, years after he left his body.

WHY THERE IS NO KRISHNA IN ALTAR?? IT'S NOT PERFECT ALTAR..
Hi - SRF/YSS added Krishna to the altar around 1958 (several years after the great guru's passing). Yogananda didn't have a picture of Krishna on the altar because he said that Babaji is the incarnation of Krishna.
