@@discobroccolifool968 Nice hahah! Once they threw a bottled water at the crowd and it bounced off me and my sister, but someone else got it after it flew away LOL
@@sarakjeldsen769 Matt Greiner threw a drumstick and it landed about 8 feet in front of me. Thing about the pick I got is that Jake didn't randomly throw it to me. I had on my pick bracelet and I was pointing to it and yelling "Right here!" and he literally saw me and threw it right to me. Made me feel special lol.
Nobody has commented in 2 years? That's crazy!! Well I absolutely love this song til this day and will forever love it! The nostalgia is real with this one..
@spadeflame8 I am an athiest, but I couldn't be happier that these guys are Christian. It leads to a lot of positive messages, and even empowering messages in their lyrics. And I love how that doesn't fit the stereotypical view of metalcore. Makes their music more enjoyable to listen to, considering they aren't constantly talking about pain, death, sorrow, etc.
I agree! I wanted some positive messages for songs because I was sick of listening to sad metalcore songs, no matter how good they were. I ended up with ABR and it's amazing.
It's great to see a legitimately good band pushing the boundaries of a music scene that is growing admittedly stale. With each band and song starting to blend together, out comes ABR with innovative songs, deep and complex writing, and a different yet distinguishable sound for each album. Being a Christian band also shows that they have respectable morals, and also a willingness to stand up for something not usually associated with this style of music. Keep on keeping on, ABR.
@spadeflame8 I would actually say the best part about this band is that they don't use their religion to sell records, they sell records by being amazing. They don't try to sit here and call themselves a "Christian band" to garner fans like basically all of the "christian bands" do.
Little did everyone knew that this was the first ABR song to incorporate non-metal interludes, as well as to feature Matt Greiner doing 16th double bass bursts at 240 BPM.
10 year anniversary show for Leveler, they’re going to play the full album. Finally getting to see this amazing band here in Chicago . How the fuck has it been 10 years already.
Can someone explain to me what them being Christian has such a big deal about their music? Yeah the songs have religious backround, but i'm an atheist and i fucking love these guys.
some of you are starting to complain, what's wrong guys? you think all the song sound the same? of course they sound the same! they all sound BRUUUUTAAAALL!
@lapackman777 I personally think the absolute best bands are associated with the style of music (MetalCore) The Devil Wears Prada, All That Remains, UnderOath, As I Lay Dying, Haste the Day, and Demon Hunter. All great christian bands and the absolute best in the business!
Very awesome song, can't wait to buy the album now, certain parts of the song bring a Latin feel to it but still incorporates a heavy musical feel... Latin-Metal Fusion perhaps? Whatever it is I dig it!!
@degodly Because Christianity is a huge inspiration for the lyrics. Sure the music is amazing, but their lyrics have so much content and meaning that believers like myself really appreciate. Something a non-believer wouldn't understand.
the version i have of this album, every song is faster than all the other recordings of the songs ive seen on youtube. its weird but i like the songs faster
@imrhyswatson what?..... He has complicated his rhythms beyond what you can comprehend. Lemme guess, you like what you can only understand. Try playing along to this album. Its ridiculous.
@WesStink No. You obviously didn't read what he said correctly. I'm not saying he's right by assuming they're good people, which I believe they are, just because they're Christians either though.
the double pedal gets redundant... he actually has a much better groove on this album. and theres not song in the previous albums harder than revisions.
Dude, not every band, song, or lyric associated with a religious thought or background has to be debated in the comments. just shut up and enjoy the freakin music.
@elipsix616 Ummmmmm. None of the bands you listed are on or evern close to ABR's level. KSE used to be ok, now they're junk, same with ATR, parkway drive is a good sounding band but not doing anything innovative, Miss May I is gay kids metalcore. AILD is a great band, closest to ABR's level out of the bands you listed, but still not quite there.
nothing but a watered down rehash of 100 other metalcore bands that came before them. who actually listens to this? aren't these bands aware that they're all just re-recording the same riffs at this point?
Their breakdowns never get old. I also love the Spanish elements in this song. Adds a summer mood to it.
U should've seen Jake Luhrs salsa dancing at the show I went to last week lol
@@discobroccolifool968 Last week?! Ah I'm jealous. lol Cant wait to see them live again.
@@sarakjeldsen769 I'll make u more jealous. He threw me a guitar pick after the show.

Still coming back to this even in 2023 🙏

Brian Owens love this song too
These guys are THE best metalcore band bar none.
2nd that!!!!
i love how August Burns Red has never really gone away from their style, always making great albums!!
Hey there, its me 9 Years in the future: You are still correct haha.
@@RazorwingFairy Agreed.
I love how the quiet parts make this song a special one from the album.
August Burns Red just took the words right out of my mouth.... "This song is music to my ears (this song is music)"
Leveler still one of my all time ABR favorite albums
@spadeflame8

this song puts makes love to my soul.

Glory!
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite song on Leveler.
Late, but I applaud this.
This is way different then what they normally are, but it sounds soo freakin awsome!!!! :D i cant wait!!!
these guys are neck & neck with For Today imo
I like the instrumentals for this one, they're pretty.
I pre-ordered this album from Best Buy, this song and "Empire" are AWESOME!
Another metal band that mixes salsa into their music is Wretched. They and ABR are on my top 5 metal bands list. I love this new album!
this album is going to be sooo epic
The instrumental parts remind me a whole lot of Gerudo Valley from the Ocarina of Time. Epic. :)
Can someone explain to me what them being Christian has such a big deal about their music? Yeah the songs have religious backround, but i'm an atheist and i fucking love these guys.
I was raised Muslim, and 100% agree. Truth is truth.
Who the fuck cares about religion

woah... both this song and Empire from Leveler sound fucking amazing to me! This is gonna be a great album!
Learning this on guitar. Not an easy song at all.
so good!

the pits must bounce pretty high on this one

Great band \m/
Hellooo goosebumps
wow. they are epic
I love their new sound!!! haha
@Ardschok They were going for something completely different from Constellations. So they're incomparable.
this is mint!
For Today
@degodly Because Christianity is a huge inspiration for the lyrics. Sure the music is amazing, but their lyrics have so much content and meaning that believers like myself really appreciate. Something a non-believer wouldn't understand.
1:07-1:24 salsa metal, me likey!
baileyespguitar you got me thats exactly why i sed that....
Anyone else go into a funky dance during
The breakdown!? Just me? Ok
@MrArenzHomesick lol. for sure ABR is one of the sickest bands out there right now. Love the new sound all around.
my life
Who’s here to compare the new version to this version?
Doing the whole album back to back
that classic metal "O" :) 0:18
lyrically (for sure) no other band compares to ABR
i thiink its normal to say i've listened to this song a BAJILLION times!
agreed!
OMG YES
you should check out Salt and Light for some nice quieter parts. I think Internal Cannon/Salt and Light are their best songs
the version i have of this album, every song is faster than all the other recordings of the songs ive seen on youtube. its weird but i like the songs faster
@imrhyswatson what?..... He has complicated his rhythms beyond what you can comprehend. Lemme guess, you like what you can only understand. Try playing along to this album. Its ridiculous.

1:16 to 1:23 sounds kool whit the drumms
SALSA-CORE
anyone else go "wait, what?!" at 1:03?
@TennisFreak145 amen!!!!
let me hear you
Id like them to still be as heavy as they were on messengers. too bad
I would just like to say it's based on love not rules
Everyone know Matt Greiner and Chuck Norris are brothers.
@sum33 where did you find it at? because i would kill to have a "hard copy"
Gerudo Valley theme randomly plays
Killswitch Engage?
As much as i love KSE, they are not the best :P
@Slushymaster Ok, I'm going to take a guess and say that you didn't take the time to listen to the song
@jkubed95 i just went, fuck yea man hahahaha
best part is is their Christan!
@fatitalianguy i love everything else though!
the double pedal gets redundant... he actually has a much better groove on this album. and theres not song in the previous albums harder than revisions.
