Finally done with my sweater. It turned out pretty amazing for my first time crocheting. Had some trouble during stitching parts but thanks for your lovely tutorial. Now i am gonna parcel it to my sister. Hope she loves this surprise from her younger brother 😅
Hello, I am a ten year old and this was very fun to make and I love this pattern I am using it to make me and my BFF matching sweatshirts, I had to make a few changes for this to fit me but In the result it turned out amazing! Keep doing what you do have a fantastic day!
You've made such a fantastic video, so easy to follow and with your voice it's almost relaxing. I'm a mediumish beginner, having been a straight knitter forever. I tried a plain rectangular panel sweater with boat neck and the way you do the sleeve attachment chain and neck seems easier and I LOVE the way you did the ribbing at the bottom instead of having to make the separate piece and then crochet the whole thing horizontally. it's hard to make a smooth join. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
So cute!!! I made one in grey and as a beginner to clothes making using crochet it is really easy to use and follow!! Doing amigurumi all the time means that it's a little weird transferring from little creatures to clothes but it was easy and I love this tutorial!! I'm definitely going to use it again!! Thanks :)
finally i finished my first sweater after making it for MONTHS, thank you so much for the tutorial also, your voice is SO CUTEEE especially when you say "okayyy guyyys" 😭💗
I made this sweater when I first started crocheting and let me tell you, it’s amazing! It’s my favorite sweater I’ve ever made, I used big twist value yarn in the color “plum”. I’m definitely will be repeating this pattern if I ever want to make another sweater, thank you so much! You are a great teacher💕
I have never done a sweater, but this will be my first attempt, it's just so cute and well explained. Maybe it would take me a lot of time to finish it but I would let you know how it goes :)
2 minutes in and I already love your tutorial, you're so clear and make it easy to understand, I cant wait to get started on my sweater😊 thank you for the amazing tutorial
Hi! I'm a new crocheter. I been crocheting for almost a year and tried this. I made it in three day and it turned out great! Thank you so much for this lovely pattern. Edit I redid the sleeves so ending up taking longer.
Ah, crocheting is so relaxing and so satisfying…until you realise you miscounted. That’s when I throw my work in the next corner for a few days. But the tutorial is amazing, greetings from Germany!
Almost done with my sweater!! Loving it so far! I just finished a sleeve and now I’m working on the other one and then the collar! I did have to do an extra decrease on the decrease row for the end of the sleeves, so pull through four instead of three, but I love this so much thank you!!
Just completed mine! Your tutorial was very simple to follow. This was my first crocet clothing item. I did change it a bit so my sleeves were not as puffy. But it still turned out amazing. Thank you!
I am 12 and I am finally done with my sweater it took me 2 weeks and I had to do some adjustments like: 1- crocheting decrease rows before attaching the collar. 2- crocheting the collar the same way as the arms instead of making it separately and sewing it in. 3- making the wrist cuffs separately and sewing them in. Hope it makes it easier 😍
This turned out Amazing for my first clothing that i crocheted, usually i just make animals and a bunch of other things. thank you so much for this pattern, it fits so well and it's very warm!
I absolutely adore your tutorial! And thank you for putting the number of stitches expected for each row, usually stitch counting gives me issues! I think i made the collar a little bit too loose and I didn't expect the sleeves to be so ... PUFFY (but hey it doesn't hurt anyone). I'll definitely be using pattern again to make some gifts for my friends! Thank you so much!

amazing tutorial!! this is my first crochet project ever, it took me just under two weeks and i'm sooooo happy with the results!! the only tweak was 45 chains for the sleeves instead of 61 because 61 turned out waaaaay too long (the sleeves literally reached past the tips of my fingers and i'm 5'7).
@cookies cream yep, that's what i had, but the puff was soooo huge and i didn't like it like that so i redid it. the puff was still there just a bit smaller. that's the cool thing abt diy, u can tweak it to your preferences, that's just how i prefer mine :)
I used this video for reference to follow along and when I started, it was the ending of August 2024. Let me tell you, I had to frog this whole project 4 times & restart the sleeves and cuffs on each side 3 times lol just to get the measurement right. Prior to this project, I was making little stuffy toys, keychains, and beanies and practicing granny squares in July of '24 & I can proudly say that I completed my first "big" project for a beginner with no knowledge and experience in this craft, today, 11/23/24. I used the really big fat, 2 1/2 rolls of green and 2 1/2 rolls of the white yarn and I was crocheting with 2 strings instead of one. Because why not make my life more difficult & throw in 2 yarn strings and I barely know how to crochet with just 1 lol why not eh. But ultimately because they were cheap and from dollar tree so in my head I was like ok, I'm just practicing, & while the dollar store yarn, I wouldn't recommend as far as the "chic esque", softness, and "not scratchy, itchy" like feel, I was thinking at least I'm going to make it look pretty and I can use it as my point of reference for when I get the nicer quality yarn next time. & I told myself, that if I can't make it work with the cheaper ones I'm not going to waste my time buying expensive stuff & if I'm only going to be making mediocre things. Best believe I made it work lol I didn't give up and surprisingly it came out really nice. I mean it is stiff (because it wasn't those nice sweater quality yarn) BUT it was pretty and proportioned, and snipped and tucked neatly. & after I washed it with a ton of softner... she's less stiff lol btw, my measurements were adjusted for someone who is slightly bigger. I did not keep track of how many stitches went into it, I literally would hold it up to myself and see how long I gotta crochet it to get it close but not loose or too snug lol I'm still learning about the stitch counting and jargon etc... for all you crochet snobs out there. anyway, I love love love it so much. Thank you for sharing! This was a fun project for me.
You sound so very young to be so good at this. I have tried so many sweaters and I can't follow along at all, I then end up making up the rest of it and no it does not look good nor do they ever fit. I'm going to give this one a try thank you
