Exciting news - I finally got an ESP LTD Deluxe Phoenix 1000! Watch this video for my full review and thoughts on owning this amazing guitar after playing it for 14 days. This Vintage White model is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Custom and a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat. Two great sounding pickups that gives this electric guitar a ton of range and makes it highly versatile for recording. It also has a TonePros tailpiece and Tune*o*matic style bridge. The offset body style is a first for me but the overall comfort of this guitar made the adjustment really easy. Check out the video to get the full story on this guitar.

Indeed. It was my first guitar I had bought in 35 years and I was blown away by the modern machining. I mean, the last guitar I owned was an Antigua strat lol

I got one of these brand new last year with a form fitting hardshell, really difficult to get used to at first, felt like the neck was in the next room, after playing it to death for a couple of weeks it's now my main guitar, out of the 20 or so guitars I have this one is like a treasure that stands above the rest, especially that phat cat combined with the bridge split doing cleans.

Is the guitar headstock heavy? Dives when you set it on your lap or standing??

Thanks! I’m a studio guy so I’m generally sitting down. But it feels pretty balanced considering it is offset. The body is quite large which I think helps the balance.

Not going to lie, I LOVE stainless steel. No maintenance and they just last. But so far I’m not missing them on this guitar. It’s got tons of mojo as is.
