I'm just going to chirp in here with my 2 cent experience. I've been slowly migrating to linux from windows because i despise 10 and 11. (Windows 7 pro really spoiled me ) at the same time i hate entering commands in the console or terminal mainly because i don't understand the language.. so its been a learning experience. SO far Mint has been the most point and click friendly. I have tried
Debian . struggled with typing in commands.
Manjaro, Loved the look but struggled with command line input because the Arch commands was different than the Debain
Kubuntu Again LOVED the KDE desktop but again struggled with configuring hardware
OpenSUSE again beautiful but again odd command language hard to find the correct terms.
Ubuntu good support, basic Debian commands most things work.. not really user friendly for me though the menu's didnt seem intuitive.
Finally Mint Cinnamon .. so far.. its been less of headache. not as "Pretty" as KDE but it its been easier to work with in my experience.

Thanks for sharing your story. Terminal is something some of us use, and then there are that prefer only point and click, so sometimes I do mixed videos, this one has a part one for folks who just like point and click, or maybe a mix of both. Regards, t

I didn't know that backgrounds from different releases could be downloaded in synaptic. Thanks!
