Please tell me you’re gonna do Flame swordsman some time in the future. I mixed it with Red Eyes and although it’s no where near as strong as an Infernoble variant I enjoy playing it because to me it really embodies Joey.
This shining sarcophagus deck is phenomenal. I’m hoping to build this deck in real life and in master duel. I’m sorry you lost against the Kashtira. I swear they’re always ambitious to win. But I did manage to beat them with a buster blader virus deck. Call it a field and hand wiper.
If we only had Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, this deck would’ve had a great endboard to consistently set up on top of Silent Magician and Swordsman Zero. Although, it’s not too shabby as it is right now.
I wish they would've kept Yugi's cute/heroic theme instead of defaulting to useless Atem cards. Back before the Atem cards were added I was saying this deck needed a Valkyrion that (similar to Icejade) subtitutes as Shining Sarc and possibly a field spell that does the same. And then cool cute additions like Watapon (either this or Valkyrion would be an omni-negate), and potentially a Magnet Trio. Then I later realized Time Wizard comboed with Dark Magician for Dark Sage because it was originally one of Yugi's cute cards (he gave it to Joey), so a Time Wizard would also be really cool. It's so obvious how they could have built on the pre-Atem cards. The Atem cards do next to nothing of value for the deck's original concept.
I feel like a board breaking approach of the deck is much stronger than the setup going first right? How do you its best played? I dont really know wether to go first or second with this lol
board breaking is complicated. you want as many cards as possible on the field to maximize gandoras atk, so board wipes are not it. evenly and drnm are also not good, because you need your batlle phase since that’s an otk deck. it’s best to focus on negates
bro The shiny sarcophagus cannot be destroyed by monster effects, you did not have to defend it from destruction if it were decks that only have monsters only if they try to return it to the deck.
Sometimes easy to make swordman level go up and make it a boss monster than actually wait depending on what attack monsters your facing rather than wait for a card pull or for a turn change to level it can use its ability to also do it along with its spell level increase makes it go up to 4000 attack in no time
3 sarcophagus, 1-2 gandora. that’s it really with the URs. Extra deck is not needed, unless you want to play super poly or have a plan B with links and xys. if you’re on a budget, go for 3 sarc and 1 gandora. since the extra deck is not needed, just put random stuff in there for the pot
Deck aint great its cool but if you they stop future silence or gadget trio you force to end turn or or leave because the deck doesnt perform without shining sarcophagus being on the field the deck looses to every hand trap and negate

Kash and Horus are brain dead yes, but they easily die to one field wipe. Negating just 1-2 of their cards can halt them Full power tears can easily come back from a field wipe even when it’s your turn. Your negation options are far more limited
