Certainly a helpful, handy product! Should save a lot of deaths in the future John, especially knowing how unpredictable the weather in Australia can be!
Thank you so much for helping me set up mine! Like you, I only have a heater. I wonder if the alarm will keep going off during summertime. I don't live in a very hot area, but we have had some heatwaves that reach 40 °C. Do you have any experience with this?
Yeah I’ve experience a couple 40 degree days. If you have an air con on in the room of the fish tank you should be fine, but if u can’t or u think the heat will be a problem, investing in a chiller would be worth it. 👍
The alarm should go off quickly if the water heats up and should just shut your heater down and won’t turn it on until the water goes back to the required temperature. You might not even need a heater on full stop in the summer depending on what fish you have
Nice video thank you. Does this make a clicking noise when the heating element is turning on or off? I have my set up in my bedroom and the thermostat I am using now clicks loudly and it’s very annoying
Sorry for the late reply mate! It must be broken, because it shouldn't be making a clicking noise. Might have to replace it if it's still clicking loudly
What kind of heater would you recommend for the InkBird? I'm building a new tank and like before will have mostly tetras in it. My previous heater broke and I've been looking at the Eheim Jagar and others but not sure what to get with the InkBird.
G'day mate! Any heater should work that can plug into the wall. Eheim is great quality I've heard and their singular heaters will go great with the InkBird
Nah, unfortunately. I mean, you could try adding an extension with more power points on it, but there's only 1 for heating and 1 for cooling on the device.
@@Lazarusthefishboy thanks ok I think you could plug a adapter plug to the heat plug that has 2 plugs on it for 2 heaters. I gonna be running 2 heaters for even heating of my 55 gallon
Yeah, us celsius people like to think we're right lol, but the whole thing's just too confusing for me. Over the last few years I've picked up on basic conversions of celsius to faranheit, which can be handy I guess
G'day guys! If you're interested in purchasing one of these for yourself, you can find it through this affiliate link:

All good mate! Good luck with your tank, the tc should do it good!
Awesome unboxing laz!. This certainly looks like an amazing piece of equipment. I've just done a review on the hygger heater. Thanks for sharing 😊
Very handy indeed!
I’m about to order one of these for my discus tank 😊

Very cool!!
Thanks for watching Aiden!
Looks like I'm going to be satisfied with my new purchase. Inkbird has such a selection of these. These things can be applied to a lot of situations.
Definitely!
Great video! 🎉 can you run 2 heaters on it?

a very kool device
Sure is! Thanks Raleigh!
Alles gut erklärt...
Thanks mate!
If you set it to say 25 and set the alarm to 27, once the alarm goes off I assume the until automatically kills all the power to the heater?
Yep, and once the temp goes back to 26 or 25 it turns the heater back on again 👍
