Great video! I love Profusion eyeshadows and I’m a big fan of colorful looks. I wasn’t always that way but as I’ve gotten older, I say why not have fun with makeup? Just my opinion and thoughts on it. I still love a good neutral or smoky glam look.

I think you can wear any colors anytime of the year. There's no rule that says when the seasons change so should your makeup. Like you said makeup is meant to be fun 🤗😘🤪

I've liked all their shadows, like their Lip liners, eye liners are also good. The last time I tried their liquid lipsticks I found the formula to be a bit dry looking on the lips tho.
hi Yari. 1st time viewer here and i really like your camera presence & your super easy and comfortable vibes. i don't sub to very many YT channels ( or if i do, i quickly unsub bcz that 1 vid that convinced me to sub was the exception to the rule and the real personality comes out ). but you seem so genuinely talented...a true artist that i (& all your viewers) can learn so much from. your shadow application techniques are very fluid like & your blending methods are EVERYTHING bcz they are str8 forward & not complicated yet still 100% effective !! just a quick question: i have the Profusion Spectrum palette. sadly, it did NOT perform for me like it did for you. i more adequately prepped my eye area for shadow application: cleaned, used an OCuSOFT eye lid cleanser pad, moisturized & then applied an eye primer. i tried both with & w/out the primer. i also well made, clean brushes. Aaaaaallll that and i can not get this palette to perform well on my lids....i even tried repeating the prep steps w/out the primer j.i.c. it was the primer causing the issue and it did not help. any ideas or suggestions cuz i really want the Profusion formula ton work well on my lids bcz even though i have Viseart & Pat McGrath tastes, my budget (at least for now) must settle for Profusion & elf :( thank you for helping
Hey my love! 😄 ok so, it could be a series of things. It has been trial and error for me since I finished beauty school until I found what combinations work the best in real life. One thing to look into is the primer. If your primer goes on clear or dies very Matte and doesn't have somewhat of a tacky finish, try another primer. For pops of colors such as the ones in this palette or any palette for that matter, a a colored base is best. A light cream or even white would be great. Think of it as if your painting on a canvas. You want to use a white canvas in order to get the best color pay off. Another thing I like to do with color is pat the product in. Any brush brand would work even affordable ones, but your should use a fluffy eyeshadow brush. One that will pack the product on. You want to pat the product on versus swiping it on. That will also help you get great pay off. So your base, your brush and your application are things to consider. Try that if you haven't and let me know if it works.

Do you like using fair over like shade medium? When I purchased my Gerard, I did the white base and also the medium because I thought I was supposed to pick my skin tone. I really wish I would have chosen fair over white, I guess. I appreciate the bright beautiful look. I am not one for neutrals at least warm toned neutrals sometimes I can do cool toned neutrals like white and Gray but I prefer colors however it doesn't matter what look you do it always looks gorgeous and appealing I will definitely rock bright eye shadow out in public but the very weird thing is I have never once in my life ever seen someone out in public with gorgeous make up and I live in Florida I used to live in New Hampshire and I've never seen anybody I guess that's probably why I get so many compliments because it's something that people do not see.
Fair is light enough to compliment the bright shades but has a hint of beige in it which compliments neutrals so I love using it because of that. White works great for sure but the neutrals and darker shades like grey and black come off muddy. I think Medium is a nice in between.

I wear color all year long. I don't go by winter/summer shades! I wear whatever I am feeling that day.
