Mr Mukundu I hope you realise you are a life coach. This is transferable to life chaiko tinomhanya zvakawanda pahupenyu sadza risati rakwata ndapanzwa ipapo ..... You are onto something great.
I think that this is a great discussion to have... but perhaps there is need to act on these insights and start a consultancy/management services/label or something that can help Zimbabwean artists launch their International careers. We need to put or money where our mouths are. Thanks again Mono for sharing.
Wow! I learned a lot. You have a great sense of humor, so your presentation never gets boring. Without a doubt, many Zimbabwean musicians would benefit from watching this.
Mono this was a brilliant session. You have brought so many valuable lessons and my only suggestion is if possible add subtitles because these lessons apply to every musician everywhere. Good presentation skills. Well done 👏👏👏👏
Maita basa 👏🏽👏🏽 for sharing your in-depth knowledge. Vane nzeve tanzwa. Thank you. I found that all this information you are teaching nezve music industry is very applicable to life in general also! Kuzvibata, kusazvitutumadza, being authentic zvese makes a well rounded person. I like your sense of humor above all 😂😂. Ndine ana Mukanya vadiki (my 2 sons) who I will definitely share this information with 🎉🎉Awesome!!
I get your point and I like your love for our own music. My question, why is Sungura not international? Where are we failing in getting Sungura musicians to reach the international levesl of Tuku and Mapfumo?
Thanx,I will need a complete video essay on that topic. But one issue is their use of one chord sequence, which is 1/4/1/5,to someone who dosent understand the language its like listening to the same song
There is an interview here on youtube which John Chibadura did with Radio 2 in 1995 after he released album ,Pfuma yenhaka. He was asked by one Musavengana Nyasha why Sungura music is not going international. His answer was very simple. He said, international to him is a bonus as he always create music for locals just like Mbanqanga is mainly South African and not doing much on the international scene
Mr Mukundu has an outstanding passion to help musicians, tinopa kutenda 🙏
Tinotenda foe the feedback
Such a wealth of knowledge we need to give him a national platform so he can impart his knowledge
