- The WWII German motorcycle protective raincoat was introduced in 1934. It was intended for wear when riding motorcycles and was worn over the standard field uniform and equipment. The coats were cut quite large and were quite popular amongst the troops for their stylish appearance and functionality. It was issued to motorcyclists such as dispatch riders, reconnaissance and field police. There are different ways to wear it that you can try on your 1/6 German military policeman.
