I was born in Lyari in 1995. I still remember the awful years of my life when Young Guys (including my schoolmates) were carrying NATO weapons, SMGs, LMGs, and anti-aircraft missiles.
In that war, hundreds of innocent members of my community were killed by open violence.
This is all that has happened for the bloody profit of the state and its institutions.
The first time I saw NATO fire-arms was in Lyari

I lived there too for 13 years of my life while this violence was on peak i don't remember how many days i went to school in a year cz there was always a fight and death threats to the common people... I still can't get of the night we spent sitting in our kitchen's cabinet and in the my room's wall had holes of bullets in it!!

I as child of 10-12 years at that time lyari gangwars pta nhi hota tha k me school jaarahi hu toh ghar aongi ya nhi my mother she is going for groceries wo waqas ghar aengi ya nhi literally kisi ko b maloom nhi hota tha k agar me ghar se nikal raha hu toh wapas jaonga ya nhi even though my mother she was in market when they attack bombs my 2 of cousins coming from madarsa lost alhamdullillah she was saved by Allah or hum ghar pr beth k bomb blasts ki awazein sun rahe hai jo log market se arahe hai wo khun se lat pat ghar pr b insaan save nhi tha ,rooz rooz kidnapping, mudders, weapons chote chote larko k hath me bomblasts ,bhatta khori each and every single scene aise zehen me bas gae hai k kabhi bhulenge nhi but now lyari is in peace ✌️
Iam from India, in 1998 I visited Pakistan n went to this place lyari , I was shocked to see it was like a Bollywood underworld movie scene.

I really like TCM always coming up with the best content with facts and figures not like other news channels. We as a Pakistani nation faced a lot of difficulties. Hats off to the people of Lyari who faced all this violence but are still pro-Pakistan. Political parties use people for their personal benefit and when done throw people away like tissue papers. @@owaisbashirwani Slightly better after the army operation, but army also killed alot of my innocent young relatives by picking up youth in the streets & accidentally murdering them during interrogation's torture. They would dump their bodies in garbage alleys & have visible torture marks.
