It can be very hard to sing and control core/breath support outside of a chest voice or chest-dominant mix. LSF sounded better with their new Hot n Fun coachella song because it's a very "shouty" song in a mid register, forces you to engage the diaphragm and project your sound (and usually helps with pitch accuracy). YG singing style is usually chest, which is why all their singers sound very strong and unique in timbre.

I would like to adress that her current singing style and opera singing style is almost like opposites she sings low and more up beat and pop style but b4 it was high and like classical style. And the two r very different so that could be the reason for a talent decaying its not actually her singing is bad shes just bad in the current genre she is singing in. It's interesting, because they get lots of hate and a lot of the hate are not even Kpop fans. You can blame independent artists for bad singing, but a group managed by the agency. It's just unfair, because Kpop groups (most) do not make the lyrics, dance, and even outfits.
All the blame can only really be applied to the agency.
One could say that idols themselves could invest on their singing skills themselves, but doing that on top of their hectic schedules of dance practice among other things like hardcore dieting and sleep deprivation makes it quite difficult to do so already.
This makes a lot of criticisms turn into bullying on top of straight-up internet menaces.

Opera is different. Now she sings in keys that arent good for her. Just because she can sing opera doesnt mean she can sing kpop well. It has nothing to do with choreography. Hybe didn't train her well. They are better off giving her lines in her range.
It's not just about range.
It's about what to expect and how it's delivered.
You cannot expect perfect singing when you're dancing to the style of Kpop, especially under HYBE entertainment that is one of most clowned on kpop entertainment companies for notoriously "bad" singing comparing to all others.
However, you can expect good singing in opera.
Stop feeding into the notion that there can be a perfect performer. That's just insane.

Opera/clasical singing techniques (mostly in head voice) are very different than pop/kpop style singing (mostly mixed voice). She may still be good in head voice but never developed the skills for pop(no thanks to hybes lack of vocal training)

For those wondering why Yunjin can sound like this and not sound as good in her kpop performances is because opera is different from pop music snd let me tell you I sing opera songs and is trained to compete sometimes and whenever I shift to pop songs, I sound AWFUL. Then when I sing classical again, it's like a whole new person. And I think the same happens to Yunjin. I think she lacks training for pop singing 😭
she wasn’t ever trained in opera singing, she said so herself. she was however singing pop songs perfectly fine a few years ago on produce 48; she has regressed since then.

For any1 who wondering why Le Sserafim are so weak in their vocal when it comes to stage performance, that's because Le Sserafim's debut was very sudden, if you follow the drama of the dispute between HYBE and MHJ you will know that Le Sserafim debuted to compensate for the losses caused by MHJ. They all have projects involving HYBE, MHJ and Source Music, but suddenly MHJ wants to become CEO and doesn't want to work with Source Music. MHJ took trainees from Source Music and during the trainee period all costs were borne by Source Music, therefore Source Music made Gfriend disband because it was on the verge of bankruptcy and HYBE gave them new trainees whose trainee time was very short because they had to debut immediately and save the company.
