Newcastle United supporter focus on GMTV, 10th February 1993

Rare footage of a GMTV report the morning after Newcastle United visited Portsmouth's Fratton Park for a Division One clash on 9th February 1993.
Despite how they play it, reporter Nick Clark did not jump on for the full trip!
The studio then focus on Newcastle United's 1992-93 promotion attempts backed by their fanatical support that includes the late Stevie Charlton and Cliffy Ahmed. R.I.P.

I was born on this day. On the 10th of February 1993. And still the best thing to happen that day was New Castle playing. Yes lads!

Superb stuff. I was sat next to Cliffy many a time on the Back Page bus. Including, ironically, a trip to Portsmouth in 2005/06.
Great to see a young Glenn Wallace too. I’ll be travelling to Tranmere this week in his company.
