Opened the app, asked “is there anyone there?” immediate response of “can you hear her?” It was then I realized I should probably not do this in my house and closed it haha. Am going to some haunted locations soon to try it out. I was skeptical but the accurate reply sent a chill down my spine 😂 my skepticism says it’s the app listening to me and spitting out an answer but who knows..
I downloaded it and got a few responses but nothing of any of my family members which is what I was looking for instead it said random words and then the words Satan and demon popped up and I said this speaking session is now closed because from learning from other people in the past if you don't close that door before you close the app you might let something in your house you don't want their it also was telling me I shouldn't be there so just maybe it was a warning
@alinagarcia8595 i have a few tips to help keep you safe. Just some knowledge I've learned during my own journey with this and my best friend who is an amazing psychic medium. It's long (sorry) but i promise it's good info: 1) make sure you're in a good place mentally before you try to communicate. Meaning, be in a happy or content mood with positive intentions before you start. If you're depressed, angry, irritable, ect, you'll end up attracting negative energies. This is what they mean by "high vibrations" (positive energy from your mood and positive entities) and "low vibrations" (negative/down moods and bad entities). 2) state your intentions when you begin. Aka, lay the ground rules for the spirits. You're in control and have more power than they do. For example, say "only energies of love, light, and peace are welcome here and welcome to communicate. No negative entities are welcome and must leave. No entities are allowed to touch me." Then you can call on who you're wanting to speak to amd tell them how you'd like them to communicate. 3) You're correct that you need to "close it out", but that's really just saying "thank you" and then telling them that they are not allowed to stay here (if you're at home) or stating that they are not allowed to follow you home (if you're at a different location). That's important because they can stay with you. This way, it will be completely safe for you to do this at home and you won't have to worry. 4) every morning when you wake up, ask your spirit guides to protect & guide you. If you're Christian (I am so just throwing this explanation out there just in case), think of your guides as guardian angels in a way. You picked them out specifically to help you through this lifetime before you were born. Pretty cool, right? Also, try using multiple communication tools and don't get discouraged if it doesn't seem to work well the first few times. Not all spirits have communicated with technology before and each tool takes a different skill for it to work. They have to learn the tool just like we do. My 2 haunted dolls like to play around with new tools I bring in so they'll tell me on a tool they are familiar with that they are figuring the new tool out, while the new tool is giving random results
I pulled this app up while I was bored and couldn’t sleep. I asked all my questions in my head as to not disturb my partner. I asked, “I want to speak to my grandmother.” Response, “only for you.” Few days prior I had a vibrant dream which I witnessed many murders at the hands of a man who’s name was repeated throughout. My next question to my grandmother was, “what’s the name of the murderer I had dreamed of a few nights ago?” Response, “Ralph.” I lost it. ‘Twas correct. This is the real deal. Once I was joking about how nothing made sense so I cracked a joke. I got, “you’re funny.”
Do be careful running GhostTube on its own. As Amy and Jarrad (of @AmysCrypt who design and maintain the app) suggest, it is best used in context with other devices in use. That way, there is more of a sense of corroboration. Also, please be careful when running apps or paranormal gear in your own home. If you really don’t want to know what may or may not be in your own home, any devices designed for paranormal research are best not deployed unless you are comfortable with what you may uncover.
I just tried 2 week ago the ghost tube app.The place more active in the house is in my room.The few word who came the most is "portal","devil" and possesses".I make a nap last weekend and I let the app running during my nap and in the word historic the word "stupid" was capted and pop up every 2 minutes.I don't know if I have to be careful with the "spirit" or "entity".
My house is extremely active to… I have some rather interesting spirits and tonight I had one ask me. What im doing here? Your back? Which came up 2 times. Fool And then shortly after, You can’t understand.
I have this app on my phone for two weeks now and I absolutely love it, i do hear some frases coming back like: "run, danger, why did you came and why are you here. But i had some awesome responses. I do have a little doubt on the SLS Camera but overall it is an awesome app
And the developers behind it are very responsive to questions, comments, and suggestions. Glad to hear the app is such a welcome addition to your paranormal kit!
And I also would like to add, I contributed feedback to this app, the developers were quick to respond and made the changes. There used to be to issues with the word bank. You couldn’t put spaces in between words and the limit use to be 30. I asked for 50 words and the developers were so gracious enough to make the changes I requested. I find myself buying the ghost tube VR lens to go even further with my abilities.
Oh *very* cool! If you didn’t know, the devs of GT are @AmysCrypt and they are fantastic investigators in their own right! I would live to hear more of your thoughts on Lens. That is an option I’ve been wanting to explore.
I loaded my app this morning. Unsure how to use this I put my phone up to my deceased parents picture and asked if they were at peace. No reply but as I was getting up the green meter quickly went to red 😮 I walked around the house asking questions, I made it to the basement stairwell and asked if there was someone here, STROKE was the reply. I asked if they had a stroke here. No reply I’m wondering how often I should try to get in contact
Unless you want to know if there is anything in your house, we at OSI don’t recommend you use GT in your house. If you are comfortable with it, though, have at. Remember, though, that even the makers of @ghosttube suggest you use GT with other devices. GT on its own - while compelling - is not 100% assurance of anything paranormal. GHOST tube is true no doubt I Hold An 2018 MBE and have used this Equipment in many Diffrent variations .. I Must have Done over 1000 Investigations with this equipment and also other professional equipment alongside this ... I Highly Rate this Equipment but the user may not understand the equipment and may find no interest.. I personally Belive this is the best equipment on the market at present ... I've had amazing results every time I use Ghost Tube. I also use the other Ghost Tube Apps . I mostly do Investigations with my Haunted Dolls & haven't been disappointed with the results!
I think I’m missing something here - it’s an app that randomly says words and bits of phrases now and then, and people think it’s ghosts talking? I’m not trying to be mean or anything but I don’t understand why anyone would believe it’s genuine and not a scam.
@@LoneHorizons And that’s a fair question. As mentioned in the review, the developers of GT state that this app should be used alongside other equipment. Additionally, the Word Bank is similar to the Ovilus where it randomly circulates words… …however… …the theory around word banks is that spirits use EMF to manipulate word banks in order to use a word to establish communication. We’ve had some compelling words/phrases from GT, but we’re trying to use the app with other devices. That’s our approach to it in a nutshell.
Just loaded this today... due to nightmares had just last night that were unusual. And at 10am, many voices and piano came thru, including possibly "a piano player" attached to my vintage piano, spirit! I always pick up on these things but lately, something has stirred the "chi" in our little old house. Voices include a Mexican guy, Jazzy sounding Southern black man, several female voices, and a lot of musical notes. Saging all of the home now. When i first ever used this app outside at night. I simply said Hello and it said hello back, then i said should i pray to jesus christ and it said yes.
Who verifies that the words function is true? We had 5 phones next too each other and each one gives different words. Either this function of the app is fake or full of crazy bugs.
That is a legitimate question and one for the developers who are investigators themselves. I know from my own experiences, it's been a reliable app in the field. The theory behind the voice box is that whatever is manipulating the app, it should be able to look at the word bank and find the best word to use. If you're in a location where there is high activity or multiple entities, you may get a variety of hits. Again, from my own experience with it (and I've been on investigations where we have three GT apps going), I've seen both nothing happen and multiple words happening. If "fake" I would think it would repeat the same words/phrases, but so far I have seen no indication of that.
I had high hopes for the app but it stated it captured words in my home but I’ve never felt any sort of presence here. I’ve felt and have had occurrences at a previous residence and at a previous job. The words it captured in my home were “The Doll” but I don’t have any dolls, “grandmother” but mine are alive, “in the corner”, “it’s posible”, among other words that would have made sense if I spoke out loud, which I never did. Has this happened to anyone else?
The theory - and again, this is a _theory_ concerning word banks - is that by asking questions, talking to what could be there will make the words generated seem less random and more related to your questions. (Sometimes, though, words generated still remain random.) If you are quiet, GhostTube and other apps/devices will continue to generate words. I would ask why you are testing it out at your home? If you are trying to set a control (like you said, you don’t feel anything off there) then this is your control. Words will still happen as that is what GhostTube is supposed to do. So now that you have your control, I would find a location you suspect is haunted, and give it a go there.
My own thoughts of using any kind of paranormal gear in your own home: Do so at your own risk. 😉👻😉 It would be good to know some history about the property your home is on, as well. As a precaution, you will want to light some sage, get a good smoke going, and just walk around the house - windows open - making it clear that any entity residing there is not welcome. If that does not calm down what is happening at your house, you will want to talk to someone with more experience in this matter, as in a certified demonologist or a priest. (Not kidding.)
Many entities like to joke and be foolish and they can be pretty much toxic as people in our living world enviroment, remember they were once alive and keep having attitudes they learned through their journey on Earth. Do not be afraid unless you start feeling physical changes or discomfort. Hebrew psalms help if you say it with conviction but if the spirits you meet are or were humans then it might not work. Never explore if you're under mental stress.
I used this at a haunted tunnel and I was stood at the entrance and the app said; "mansion". I am not a sceptic of paranormal phenomena, but I still question these apps if they are fake or not. I'm sure that if it was a spirit choosing these words to say, then why would it say MANSION when it is the entrance into a tunnel? I'm certain a spirit would KNOW where it is haunting?
That’s a legit observation, but from our own experience, OSI can attest that the mics are NOT listening to you. (A future 5MP will cover this.) We don’t honestly know for sure what the perception is of what remains at certain places, so it could be a memory from a place close by or perhaps one that was there at one time. This is why GT’s developers say “Use it with other devices.” as investigations should involve a variety of questions and devices that can correlate and corroborate what is being found on a site. I used this app finally in a large cemetery last night. Both vox and sls. I had 2 separate phones. S23 ultra that is my current phone and a pixel 6 pro that has no plan. Just a spare I have sitting in a drawer. My s23 picked up all kinds of voices in the cemetery. The one with no data plan? Not 1 single word or sound. And the s23 was clearly picking up ads from radio stations. I want to believe that with all the tech in our phones it would be possible to find some interesting things. But the only thing picking up voices was the phone with a data plan, even my sb7 spirit box was dead quiet. Pun kind of intended lol.
Our experience with GhostTube Vox has been mixed. We feel like we need to give it another go, but considering we already have a Spirit Box and a homemade Portal in our arsenal, it's not really a priority. We are also very hot/cold about SLS. Not just GhostTubes, but SLS tech in general. I find the theory in making SLS work in the paranormal an intriguing theory; but I also know that the technology is less than reliable. (I used to have a Kinect, and when Kinect worked, it was GREAT. When it worked.) Again, I think the strongest thing about GhostTube is that it works best when working alongside other devices. As for your own reactions with Vox, we haven't reviewed it and I can't comment as we don't use it as much as the original app. Still, thank you for watching our review; and thank you for the comment.
I have tried it twice now, i dont believe in it. Its completely random. I got like tons of names, all over the place. Not answering anything really i asked. I think some people are waaaaay too easy to convince.
Your mileage may vary on results. I do think if you are not using any other kind of equipment with GhostTube, then it is up to you to draw final conclusions. And some of the randomness with ITC devices (something we’re addressing in a Season Three’s Five Minute Paranormal) amount to nothing. I believe GhostTube’s results are stronger if used and compared with other devices; and depending on the location, the app will react differently.
I use it just for audio to communicate and I’ve gotten a few real reactions that have me convinced 😮 tho there’s a lot of things to decipher that have no meaning at the time but some obvious ‘hits’
The toughest thing about any kind of response device - Spirit Box, the GhostTube app, the Flux, etc. - is when responses come. Some of them a pretty random, and others are eerily direct to what you're asking. It's a process trying to figure out what's a random word and what a response, and that is when "faith in the results" really comes into play. Is it coincidence, or is it a full-on response? And there's another reason you use an array of devices with investigation.
I downloaded it last night and at about 3:44 am I kept getting the same words Cristina, it's outside, prayer. And single said words such as shovel, I'm hiding, I can't talk, holy water, missing, preyer, Paul, they're visiting you, grandson. In my house.

I work in a notably haunted museum and have collected many tales from other coworkers. When I found this app I immediately took it and used it, finding several areas in the museum with various entities, some polite while others were not so polite. I’ve also use this in downtown San Diego and felt that I had communicated with a child entity that was lost, not it died. It’s really hard to convey to other people how amazing this device is and how it could normalize communication beyond our realm. Sidenote, I accidentally found out my own apartment was haunted.

Why is it not to be used at home? I'm a pagan witch and use it to communicate with spirits and ghosts, which I will do in other ways as well. The app is a very nice communication channel to have.

I personally believe the app is real. I was singing before opening the app and I opened it and asked "hello?" and got a response of "singer". I responded with "yes I was singing, its a song from a musical theatre show" and was promptly responded with "foolish". the fact the app had no idea that I was singing prior makes it more convincing to me that it is real.
It can be interesting what pop up when you have it running. Sometimes, it remains silent. Sometimes, it just offers up random words. But it’s those other times that make you wonder. Thank you for the comment.
I currently use ghost tube and its my favorite paranormal app. It says relevant things based on my location. My grandparents on both sides have also come through. Your video is 2 years old but very much relevant! Happy hunting 😊
RE: The Savannah app malfunction. I have found that messing with electronics is something that some Other Siders love to do. I have apps and devices (cameras, etc.) that will suddenly go wonky or stop functioning altogether in a particular place or time, but will work absolutely fine in another location, or the same location on a different day.
Same thing happened in Gettysburg. There *is* a possibility that my camera could have malfunctioned as it was a cheap knockoff, but where it happened had something of a reputation. This theory would not surprise me. 👻📸🔥
I had two phones going with ghost tube, one not on any network, it said DISLIKE JOE 2 times, but didn't show up in list...my live in landlords name is Joe...he is a nasty person. I'm real skeptic, this got me rethinking
Nothing wrong with a hint of skepticism in studying the paranormal. Just be wary about using GT (or any app/device) in your home...unless you're okay with discovering something you didn't want to know. 😉👻👻😉
A very good question. GhostTube, by default, is in English because of its creators and overall “popularity” of the language. However, there are options for you to work in a _different_ language. (Watch @AmysCrypt and their investigation of Dracula’s Castle which takes advantage of this feature.) As I remember when I was watching _Ghost Hunters International_ back when it aired, hearing EVPs all in English would truly make our world _Star Trek_ so yeah… (I didn’t care for GHI.) But why were you picking up English? Default settings. As for what you were getting, it could have been “best guesses” from the other side, gibberish, or the individual could have been bilingual. Not knowing more about where you were or what you caught in Mexico City, I can’t go into details.
I ask questions in latin and get answers in latin when the app's data is fully english. I hear people talking about what I'm doing when cam and mic are off and my mobile is placed in another room so I think this is the best tool for serious paranormal research.

My mom is in to spiritual stuff and I don't know if sage is spiritual but it said to get rid of negative energy we turned on the ghosttube vox after she sage the house none of the lines moved

I work in healthcare at a rehab facility where we have patients who passed away and just to test it out the first word that came up was "are you frightened?" Then "im from here" shut that shit off lol
I used this in my apartment and im a little freaked out and i know at the end of it the app said "please leave" and i am assuming like leave the app so im like ok ok and said goodbye multiple times and deleted the app 😭 Should i be worried still? I dont wanna use the app ever again 😭 The app also beeped like 2 or 3 times
If you use an app like Ghost Tube in your apartment or home, always ask “Do I want to know?” If you think your apartment is haunted, you have options on how to cleanse the location or get rid of what’s haunting you. First question: Do you think your home is haunted? What is happening?
i was out with my friends and we saw like a creppy looking window and we installed the app and we were laughing and then i asked “is anyone here” and it said “hey can you hear me?” I RAN FOR MY LIFE

I'm open minded but cynical at the same time. But the first time i used the app and went back to my house it weirded me out that it said that!
And you should be. What we like about the apps from GhostTube is they are made by investigators for investigators. And their apps have been reliable. I would say though: if you’re using gear where you live, do so with caution. 😉
@Old Spirits Investigations i actually told my girlfriend I'm going to uninstall the app for that reason. I'm no investigator but i watch ghost hunting stuff every single day and know full well that you shouldn't mess with things you don't understand and know how to get rid of. Not a good idea doing it at home in hindsight 🤦♂️😂 thanks for the advice!
i live next to a funeral home and a funeral parlor and for years myself and a handful of my other friends have had experiences at my house so i just recently gotten all of these apps and at first i thought it was like all other ghost phone apps but i have to say i have gotten some errie response and question like am i dead, or what is your name. my friend got it with the premium and he had like a crazy alarm sound going off for his wile mine was absolutely quiet so it was weird and his was in my room so I thought that was unexplained
GhostTube really is an amazing app and it is extremely versatile. I would recommend, though, using other devices to corroborate with what the app is picking up. Invest in an EMF reader or, if you can make the investment, a REM Pod or MEL Meter. That way you can see if the app and the other devices are picking up on the same thing. As for picking up hits from the funeral home, considering all the emotions positive and negative from there, it would not surprise me if you were near a very active spot.
Well isn't that strange? We had exactly the same phrases as you just mentioned, not in the premium version that I wouldn't waste one cent on, most likely because the app only has a very limited vocabulary.
Absolutely. @amyscrypt and @ghosttube have really offered amazing options for paranormal teams. And SEER has only offered new ways of looking at what other devices tell us.
I have all 3 GhostTube apps the basic app the SLS cam is neat but it picks up on lots of objects in the room but will hit on things that aren’t there 👻
It usually seems like it just spits random words out. I’ve tried the spirit talker app and had it running on two phones. One spit out twice the amount of words then the other but in that time across both phones I got my dads name and “I’m family” here in my home. My fathers ashes are here and if I’ve ever spoken about him around my phone it’s been “my dad” not his name. So that was the one time it felt not so random. But for the most part it just seems random.
I can’t necessarily speak for Spirit Talker as I don’t use it on the regular. I’ve tried it out, and seen it in the field, and the Word Bank in it feels more sensational. Words like demon, devil, evil, get out, etc. are common hits in ST. GhostTube had always come across more genuine and sincere. If you are wanting to broaden GT’s Word Bank, you can enter in additional words (including names) but as for its randomness, that can happen sometimes with ITC devices. Some places, the results come across as random. Sometimes, the results are very poignant. Your mileage may vary.
Again, as I said in the review, don’t take what GT said by itself. It’s always good to use it alongside other devices. Also, take care to not turn it on at your home lest you are ready to find out things you may or may not want to know. 😉 Thanks for watching the review.

Use it at night during witching hours it works definitely the best when spirits are more active write down or save the words because they will be useful the next day or in the future I love this app it’s similar to a Ouija Board or Spirit Board

Me and a friend are going to a trail we think is haunted and we are using the ghost tube app yesterday we went and we got some pretty weird stuff we only got two thing one was “there are three” and for some reason it said “shopkeeper”
This is the tricky approach of word banks. Sometimes, the words produced make sense. Sometimes, it appears random. This is why it’s important to use GT with other tools. Very important.
Brah. I have no idea. It immediately said it doesnt have enough energy. Then random words like Angel and stupid. Then it said flashlight. When I was leaving it said "dont leave me". No idea If it actually can detect anything or If its just noice.
Brah…you just have to work with it. You shouldn’t use it around your home unless you’re okay with finding out something you didn’t want to know. But it’s not a “one and done” app. Give it a few outings, and then make a call on whether it is worth your time or not. 👍

*Update.* I experienced paranormal activity after that exercise. My hat was literally throw from a table and it made barely any sound when it fell. My phone calls didn't connect. Every single video I watched on TH-cam had 666 likes for about 2 days. I got my apartment cleansed. Never again unless I know what I am doing. And even then I think that was enough.
I saw @Danny-Gonzalez feature that app on one of his channels. It’s called The Ghost Detector app and is _most definitely_ an “entertainment” app, not suited at all for paranormal investigations.
I believe there is a language filter/setting where you can use a different language. For that, I would ask @GhostTube directly. But the versatility *is* there.

@@_martin208 So, when it comes to the paranormal, you need to tread carefully as there are so many unknown factors involved and we - those of us looking at and studying the paranormal - try to keep things simple. Basic contact. Not with recently-passed family members or searching for that connection, but a connection with someone/something unseen. I say this as you are, from what you’re telling me, trying to contact/converse with someone close to you and recently deceased. I, personally, would not recommend you doing so with devices like GhostTube as you are in a stage of grief. This could severely limit objectivity. Please take a moment to grieve this family member first. GhostTube can wait until a later instance if you are still interested in the paranormal. My condolences for your loss.
I truly believe that your phone didn't malfunction the ghosts themselves do not want you to video tape or use words. Flat no I use Ghost Tube in my home because of the paranormal activity between 12am and 2:00am in unbelievable strange. The energy makes itself clear through a smoke alarm and a wall. My dog is frightened and I pray. The prayer makes this bad energy leave the bedroom. This energy sets off fire alarms when there is no fire, the sound is deafening. This happens between hours I mentioned. One of the words this weekend Nov 23rd 2024 were move out, possessed, they asked what year it was. Great app
I believe in ghosts, but I find this app hard to believe. The ghost meters went crazy at weird places (like accidendally my armpit). And yesterday I got "I stand behind you" twice while I was laying in bed, and then a "Satan". I don't know. The words seem so random
The more you use Ghost Tube, the more credible it feels. At least, this is our experience. YMMV. We have also picked up alerts at weird places, some we have debunked and others have been extremely random. There are other locations where the word bank has been completely random, and some locations the words have been locked in. Whether it is Ghost Tube or Ovilus, the random nature of the word bank is by design. It is when it really feels like a back and forth you pay close attention. Thanks for the comments and for watching. (And yeah, Tee has lost count how many times Ghost Tube has called him “idiotic” and “moron.”)
We’re big fans of the GhostTube apps here. Some of the results from them, especially from SEER, have been hard to dismiss (especially when used alongside other devices). As for what we were doing at Mt. Weather, have a look at th-cam.com/video/hzaIPxKrVKA/w-d-xo.html (We were the last team to properly investigate the area as now luxury homes are built there. Sadly, when at the site, GhostTube was not in our arsenal.)
Just tried this and left it on and it said can you hear me i said no the app can and it said oh then i left it on for 5 minutes with no response from the ghost and i opened up a drink and i spilled it and said oh thit i need a rag where can i find it "i asked my girl" then the ghost responded behind you. I said where. It said desk. I said i see it, thanks. Then i called my nieces to speak to it and it said "stop" then go away" i said why it said "bye" i figured it didn't want to be bothered or maybe warning from someone or something else but who knows😅 i left it alone.
This app is the biggest load of garbage. It turns out the same terminology, taps into your photos to distort them with it's AI technology, because you gave them the permission to do that, and basically it is very misleading, with the capacity to cause psychological harm to vulnerable users. It usually starts peaceful enough, until you challenge any term being thrown about, and then you get the very predictable, sinister turn for the worst, to the point of the 'spirits' being directly offensive, calling people 'fool' or 'idiot'. We don't tend to have basements here in Australia, but that's a typical suggestion of where they are, and we generally don't have people named 'Randy' or 'Ralph' which are names more widely used in America. The terms referred to in the comments below (e.g. "can you hear her?) are exactly what I have also seen on my screen. It's not all that creative and people get sucked in by it. I am about to use an app by genuine paranormal investigators in Sweden who apparently aren't out to make a quick buck. I'm into science, not money-grabbing quackery thanks.
Hello, Susan. Thank you for watching the video and for dropping a comment; but I'm curious as to what you mean by "tapping into your photos" as the GhostTube app doesn't have this capability, and GhostTube SEER is using an AI algorithm that is using images on the Internet (as you need to be connected, and it never asks for permission for Photos access unless you wish to store images there). The responses vary from person to person, we have found, based on the Comments here. I would not say the words are as sensational as some other apps out there (I don't think in the past year of using GT we have seen the "D" word at all.) but your mileage may vary. Now, truth be told, I have been called "idiot" and "moron" repeatedly which has actually tracked with other device results, and I just attribute to rude ghosts which, yes, I am a magnet for. Again, thank you for the comment. I hope you find our other offerings here more pleasant than this review.
I had my doubts about this but I do believe in paranormal activities, I work in a shopping centre on my own at night, when i started it, a male voice said "Hes tough" later i asked it if it new my name, something or someone called me Johnny pretty close as im called John, i would say there is definitely some real stuff that comes through on this app without a shadow of any doubt now. 👻
@@jcowza5631 GhostTube had been very reliable for us at OSI, but I would not take what GT tells you as *proof* that something remains. Even Amy and Jarrad suggest on booting up GT for the first time, that their app should be used with other devices in the field in order to corroborate what could possibly be there. I recommend GhostTube, but I think the app shines when used alongside other gear and methods.
We recommend before using GT to try and connect with missing loved ones, work with neutral locations and work in with GT other devices. As said in the review, the app is best used with other devices. When getting into the paranormal, it is also advised to keep investigations neutral as personal connections are harder to authenticate on account of bias. However, picking up on a presence matters. Just try to find out what’s out there with a critical eye.
When you play ghosttube for the first time with your freind, you will get scared at first, but when you play it for 3 or more days, you will get used on it
First time I used it I just said how many fingers am I holding up and a guy clear as day and instantly said, "what? You can't count?" I was like, nope.... and turned it off and left the house. Haven't heard him since though and I ask for him. Also does anyone hear the deep DEEP voices that speak a very strange language. Almost backwards...

I close the app and after 10 minutes I opened the app again and I get: "why?" "I am angry" "I am here" what do you think? I am entertained so the app is successful for me! @@monkeyxmonkey1 Keep in mind a couple of things. The Word Bank feature randomly generates words. The prevailing theory is that the longer you use a device like that (be it GhostTube, ParaTek, or the Ovilus) a pattern or synchronicity occurs. A device that says “demon” doesn’t necessarily mean you have a demon in your house. That being said, unless you really want to know what is in your home, OSI doesn’t recommend using paranormal gear in your home. It could reveal some you don’t want to know. It could open a door you might not want to open. There are a lot of factors involved in investigating a site where you live; and you might not believe in any of this. (And that’s cool - skepticism goes a *long* way in paranormal investigation.) But if a device comes out swinging (like GhostTube did), that’s not proof. That is one part of the investigation process. To me, it sounds like a landline phone's busy signal. My bestie has the paid version of the app and never hears that specific sound. It happens out of nowhere. I've tried recreating it to no avail.
@@heatherelwing5841 Hmmm…okay…the only sound that I can think of that the app would make is the EMF reader. There’s a magnet icon with a bar indicator that goes green - yellow - red, the sound popping when the bar hits red. The EMF reader is working with the internal magnet in your phone (similar to how your phone’s compass works) and triggers at moments of high EMF. It *also* triggers when close to contact with certain metals. (My GhostTube sang me a song in Savannah, and then I noticed I was by an iron gate.) That could be the sound your app is making. If it is a true “busy signal” your app is making, I can only guess something is weird with the app and I’d delete and reinstall it. Sometimes it's disturbing but I think it has moods but I haven't spoken with it for about 6 months or something maybe less like maybe 3 or 4 months ago I tried this app and it seems like it's acting up again

We've had it say 'how are you' 'I'm lost', those are all words in the app's word bank. GT utilizes your phones magnetometer. Theory is the spirits can manipulate that field to pick out words. There are 850 pre-recorded words in there, but you can also add your own. Keep in mind fluctuations in the earth's magnetic field, and other devices can affect it. We like to use GT with other devices to confirm that. Pip says when it told her to sit down, it was actually kind of nice. :) Hope that helps!

@@HorchataHour yeah, when you are in your own home "testing" various equipment, you need to be ready for discovering something you may not have wanted to know. As far as asking about "recently departed" friends, that is always a tricky area to navigate. How do you know if it is your friend or loved one? How do you know you are not being deceived by something more sinister? There are a lot of aspects of the paranormal which still remains misunderstood or still unknown..which is why it is deemed paranormal. If you are interested in getting into paranormal investigation, consider starting with the basics. Go on a ghost tour or two, join a public paranormal investigation, look into the various historical places in your area. And above all, be careful.

I got the same things repeatedly said in space of 1 hour. I heard same collection of words/sentences said over and over and much of what I heard whilst using app I've read here in the comments that others have heard too. Not comvinced tbh on this app.
Sometimes, GhostTube can get “stuck” and it very well could be someone/something trying to communicate, and it is frustrated that it can’t. The paranormal is full of unknowns and maybes, and that is what we are trying to do when we investigate - find out what is going on. Sometimes, that can be nothing. Other times, it can be something we can’t explain.
Today i used it the first time. first ghost introduced itself as a soldier, i asked him where he is and he said down there then he told me to move to the right side on my bed, then he asked me if i feel him and i felt something soo weird and heavy on my chest like energy and ig he was trying to molest me somehow LMAO im not joking i wasnt scared tho i just laughed it off and then he just left and then some other ghost was talking to me

I think all of these 'ghost' hunting devices are lame. I don't believe in 'ghosts' or the paranormal. However, I do watch a particular channel for the entertainment value. They use several different devices and the 'ghost' tube is one of them. This device will say words even when no one is in the room. Not useful words but it will repeat itself over and over. Without anyone in the room, the device will say, "no. no. no." These guys will also use a VR headset that shows them images obviously created by AI. I don't know what the purpose is of this headset and it's weird. I think 'ghost' hunters waste a lot of money on devices for no reason. Oh and what about the device that shows a 'stick' person that's supposed to be a 'ghost'. What the hell is THAT????
Right. You’re throwing a lot out here, so let’s hit them all one by one. Whether you believe or not, apps in the field are truly hit or miss. I’m good with the GT suite as it is developed by investigators for investigators. So the app that says “No, no, no…” I’m not familiar with because the original GT is a very solid, very reliable app for us. If you look at any of our episodes, it really comes through. We also reviewed GT SEER here, and while I would be the first to tell you “This isn’t *really* an objective app…” it is a lot of fun to use in an investigation. It’s best used with other devices, but SEER is good fun and gets your brain going. As for the cost, these apps are all running at $25/year. That is _cheap_ in the grand scope of things. Do some ghost hunters spend money carelessly? Oh yeah. But we at OSI are on a budget. As for the stick figure app, that’s the Ghost Tube SLS which uses the same technology as the XBox Kinnect. I hated that technology as a gamer. It’s so dodgy. And there is no way anyone can convince me that the same technology behind Kinnect is optimized for ghost hunting. Nope. Yeah, if you don’t believe in what we are doing, that’s fair. As far as the apps, yeah GT works for us. It’s been quite an adventure. Opened the app, asked “is there anyone there?” immediate response of “can you hear her?” It was then I realized I should probably not do this in my house and closed it haha. Am going to some haunted locations soon to try it out. I was skeptical but the accurate reply sent a chill down my spine 😂 my skepticism says it’s the app listening to me and spitting out an answer but who knows..

@alinagarcia8595 i have a few tips to help keep you safe. Just some knowledge I've learned during my own journey with this and my best friend who is an amazing psychic medium. It's long (sorry) but i promise it's good info:
1) make sure you're in a good place mentally before you try to communicate. Meaning, be in a happy or content mood with positive intentions before you start. If you're depressed, angry, irritable, ect, you'll end up attracting negative energies. This is what they mean by "high vibrations" (positive energy from your mood and positive entities) and "low vibrations" (negative/down moods and bad entities).
2) state your intentions when you begin. Aka, lay the ground rules for the spirits. You're in control and have more power than they do. For example, say "only energies of love, light, and peace are welcome here and welcome to communicate. No negative entities are welcome and must leave. No entities are allowed to touch me." Then you can call on who you're wanting to speak to amd tell them how you'd like them to communicate.
3) You're correct that you need to "close it out", but that's really just saying "thank you" and then telling them that they are not allowed to stay here (if you're at home) or stating that they are not allowed to follow you home (if you're at a different location). That's important because they can stay with you. This way, it will be completely safe for you to do this at home and you won't have to worry.
4) every morning when you wake up, ask your spirit guides to protect & guide you. If you're Christian (I am so just throwing this explanation out there just in case), think of your guides as guardian angels in a way. You picked them out specifically to help you through this lifetime before you were born. Pretty cool, right?
Also, try using multiple communication tools and don't get discouraged if it doesn't seem to work well the first few times. Not all spirits have communicated with technology before and each tool takes a different skill for it to work. They have to learn the tool just like we do. My 2 haunted dolls like to play around with new tools I bring in so they'll tell me on a tool they are familiar with that they are figuring the new tool out, while the new tool is giving random results

Few days prior I had a vibrant dream which I witnessed many murders at the hands of a man who’s name was repeated throughout.
My next question to my grandmother was, “what’s the name of the murderer I had dreamed of a few nights ago?”

Do be careful running GhostTube on its own. As Amy and Jarrad (of @AmysCrypt who design and maintain the app) suggest, it is best used in context with other devices in use. That way, there is more of a sense of corroboration.
Also, please be careful when running apps or paranormal gear in your own home. If you really don’t want to know what may or may not be in your own home, any devices designed for paranormal research are best not deployed unless you are comfortable with what you may uncover.
I just tried 2 week ago the ghost tube app.The place more active in the house is in my room.The few word who came the most is "portal","devil" and possesses".I make a nap last weekend and I let the app running during my nap and in the word historic the word "stupid" was capted and pop up every 2 minutes.I don't know if I have to be careful with the "spirit" or "entity".

And I also would like to add, I contributed feedback to this app, the developers were quick to respond and made the changes. There used to be to issues with the word bank. You couldn’t put spaces in between words and the limit use to be 30. I asked for 50 words and the developers were so gracious enough to make the changes I requested. I find myself buying the ghost tube VR lens to go even further with my abilities.
Oh *very* cool! If you didn’t know, the devs of GT are @AmysCrypt and they are fantastic investigators in their own right! I would live to hear more of your thoughts on Lens. That is an option I’ve been wanting to explore.
I loaded my app this morning. Unsure how to use this I put my phone up to my deceased parents picture and asked if they were at peace. No reply but as I was getting up the green meter quickly went to red 😮
I walked around the house asking questions, I made it to the basement stairwell and asked if there was someone here, STROKE was the reply. I asked if they had a stroke here. No reply

Unless you want to know if there is anything in your house, we at OSI don’t recommend you use GT in your house. If you are comfortable with it, though, have at. Remember, though, that even the makers of @ghosttube suggest you use GT with other devices. GT on its own - while compelling - is not 100% assurance of anything paranormal. GHOST tube is true no doubt I Hold An 2018 MBE and have used this Equipment in many Diffrent variations .. I Must have Done over 1000 Investigations with this equipment and also other professional equipment alongside this ... I Highly Rate this Equipment but the user may not understand the equipment and may find no interest.. I personally Belive this is the best equipment on the market at present ... …the theory around word banks is that spirits use EMF to manipulate word banks in order to use a word to establish communication. We’ve had some compelling words/phrases from GT, but we’re trying to use the app with other devices.

Just loaded this today... due to nightmares had just last night that were unusual. And at 10am, many voices and piano came thru, including possibly "a piano player" attached to my vintage piano, spirit! I always pick up on these things but lately, something has stirred the "chi" in our little old house. Voices include a Mexican guy, Jazzy sounding Southern black man, several female voices, and a lot of musical notes. Saging all of the home now. I have the same thing, big time piano player. The home I’m in had a piano room in it. This is crazy.
When i first ever used this app outside at night. I simply said Hello and it said hello back, then i said should i pray to jesus christ and it said yes.
When GhostTube is on point, it can be a wild ride.
Recently, I was at the hospital to visit a relative, and it said “Don’t go there, Hospital” in one sentence.
That’s kind of compelling results there. 🥺

Who verifies that the words function is true? We had 5 phones next too each other and each one gives different words. Either this function of the app is fake or full of crazy bugs.
That is a legitimate question and one for the developers who are investigators themselves. I know from my own experiences, it's been a reliable app in the field. The theory behind the voice box is that whatever is manipulating the app, it should be able to look at the word bank and find the best word to use. If you're in a location where there is high activity or multiple entities, you may get a variety of hits. Again, from my own experience with it (and I've been on investigations where we have three GT apps going), I've seen both nothing happen and multiple words happening. If "fake" I would think it would repeat the same words/phrases, but so far I have seen no indication of that.

I had high hopes for the app but it stated it captured words in my home but I’ve never felt any sort of presence here. I’ve felt and have had occurrences at a previous residence and at a previous job. The words it captured in my home were “The Doll” but I don’t have any dolls, “grandmother” but mine are alive, “in the corner”, “it’s posible”, among other words that would have made sense if I spoke out loud, which I never did. Has this happened to anyone else?
The theory - and again, this is a _theory_ concerning word banks - is that by asking questions, talking to what could be there will make the words generated seem less random and more related to your questions. (Sometimes, though, words generated still remain random.) If you are quiet, GhostTube and other apps/devices will continue to generate words.
I would ask why you are testing it out at your home? If you are trying to set a control (like you said, you don’t feel anything off there) then this is your control. Words will still happen as that is what GhostTube is supposed to do. So now that you have your control, I would find a location you suspect is haunted, and give it a go there.

My own thoughts of using any kind of paranormal gear in your own home: Do so at your own risk. 😉👻😉 It would be good to know some history about the property your home is on, as well. As a precaution, you will want to light some sage, get a good smoke going, and just walk around the house - windows open - making it clear that any entity residing there is not welcome.
If that does not calm down what is happening at your house, you will want to talk to someone with more experience in this matter, as in a certified demonologist or a priest. (Not kidding.)
Many entities like to joke and be foolish and they can be pretty much toxic as people in our living world enviroment, remember they were once alive and keep having attitudes they learned through their journey on Earth. Do not be afraid unless you start feeling physical changes or discomfort. Hebrew psalms help if you say it with conviction but if the spirits you meet are or were humans then it might not work. Never explore if you're under mental stress.
I used this at a haunted tunnel and I was stood at the entrance and the app said; "mansion". I am not a sceptic of paranormal phenomena, but I still question these apps if they are fake or not. I'm sure that if it was a spirit choosing these words to say, then why would it say MANSION when it is the entrance into a tunnel? I'm certain a spirit would KNOW where it is haunting?
That’s a legit observation, but from our own experience, OSI can attest that the mics are NOT listening to you. (A future 5MP will cover this.) We don’t honestly know for sure what the perception is of what remains at certain places, so it could be a memory from a place close by or perhaps one that was there at one time.
This is why GT’s developers say “Use it with other devices.” as investigations should involve a variety of questions and devices that can correlate and corroborate what is being found on a site.

I used this app finally in a large cemetery last night. Both vox and sls. I had 2 separate phones. S23 ultra that is my current phone and a pixel 6 pro that has no plan. Just a spare I have sitting in a drawer. My s23 picked up all kinds of voices in the cemetery. The one with no data plan? Not 1 single word or sound. And the s23 was clearly picking up ads from radio stations. I want to believe that with all the tech in our phones it would be possible to find some interesting things. But the only thing picking up voices was the phone with a data plan, even my sb7 spirit box was dead quiet. Pun kind of intended lol.
Our experience with GhostTube Vox has been mixed. We feel like we need to give it another go, but considering we already have a Spirit Box and a homemade Portal in our arsenal, it's not really a priority. We are also very hot/cold about SLS. Not just GhostTubes, but SLS tech in general. I find the theory in making SLS work in the paranormal an intriguing theory; but I also know that the technology is less than reliable. (I used to have a Kinect, and when Kinect worked, it was GREAT. When it worked.)
Again, I think the strongest thing about GhostTube is that it works best when working alongside other devices. As for your own reactions with Vox, we haven't reviewed it and I can't comment as we don't use it as much as the original app. Still, thank you for watching our review; and thank you for the comment.
I have tried it twice now, i dont believe in it. Its completely random. I got like tons of names, all over the place. Not answering anything really i asked. I think some people are waaaaay too easy to convince.
Your mileage may vary on results. I do think if you are not using any other kind of equipment with GhostTube, then it is up to you to draw final conclusions. And some of the randomness with ITC devices (something we’re addressing in a Season Three’s Five Minute Paranormal) amount to nothing. I believe GhostTube’s results are stronger if used and compared with other devices; and depending on the location, the app will react differently.

I use it just for audio to communicate and I’ve gotten a few real reactions that have me convinced 😮 tho there’s a lot of things to decipher that have no meaning at the time but some obvious ‘hits’
The toughest thing about any kind of response device - Spirit Box, the GhostTube app, the Flux, etc. - is when responses come. Some of them a pretty random, and others are eerily direct to what you're asking. It's a process trying to figure out what's a random word and what a response, and that is when "faith in the results" really comes into play. Is it coincidence, or is it a full-on response? And there's another reason you use an array of devices with investigation.

I work in a notably haunted museum and have collected many tales from other coworkers. When I found this app I immediately took it and used it, finding several areas in the museum with various entities, some polite while others were not so polite. I’ve also use this in downtown San Diego and felt that I had communicated with a child entity that was lost, not it died. It’s really hard to convey to other people how amazing this device is and how it could normalize communication beyond our realm. Sidenote, I accidentally found out my own apartment was haunted.

Why is it not to be used at home? I'm a pagan witch and use it to communicate with spirits and ghosts, which I will do in other ways as well. The app is a very nice communication channel to have.

I personally believe the app is real. I was singing before opening the app and I opened it and asked "hello?" and got a response of "singer". I responded with "yes I was singing, its a song from a musical theatre show" and was promptly responded with "foolish". the fact the app had no idea that I was singing prior makes it more convincing to me that it is real.
It can be interesting what pop up when you have it running. Sometimes, it remains silent. Sometimes, it just offers up random words. But it’s those other times that make you wonder.

RE: The Savannah app malfunction. I have found that messing with electronics is something that some Other Siders love to do. I have apps and devices (cameras, etc.) that will suddenly go wonky or stop functioning altogether in a particular place or time, but will work absolutely fine in another location, or the same location on a different day.
Same thing happened in Gettysburg. There *is* a possibility that my camera could have malfunctioned as it was a cheap knockoff, but where it happened had something of a reputation. This theory would not surprise me. 👻📸🔥

GhostTube, by default, is in English because of its creators and overall “popularity” of the language. However, there are options for you to work in a _different_ language. (Watch @AmysCrypt and their investigation of Dracula’s Castle which takes advantage of this feature.) As I remember when I was watching _Ghost Hunters International_ back when it aired, hearing EVPs all in English would truly make our world _Star Trek_ so yeah… (I didn’t care for GHI.)
But why were you picking up English? Default settings. As for what you were getting, it could have been “best guesses” from the other side, gibberish, or the individual could have been bilingual. Not knowing more about where you were or what you caught in Mexico City, I can’t go into details.
All I was getting was monster demon and war. Should I be worried?

I ask questions in latin and get answers in latin when the app's data is fully english. I hear people talking about what I'm doing when cam and mic are off and my mobile is placed in another room so I think this is the best tool for serious paranormal research.

If you use an app like Ghost Tube in your apartment or home, always ask “Do I want to know?” If you think your apartment is haunted, you have options on how to cleanse the location or get rid of what’s haunting you.

So i downloaded the app a few days ago whilst at my girlfriend's house and had a lot of responses. Was asked 'am i dead?' And when i said yes it replied 'leave me alone' 'hell' and 'flames'. Tonight i went home to my house and my girlfriend was in my bed playing on a game. Whilst i was downstairs i opened the app and it said 'move it' then 'why is she here' , and 'uncomfortable' . I'm open minded but cynical at the same time. But the first time i used the app and went back to my house it weirded me out that it said that!
We like to call it “skeptical” not cynical. Best combo is opened minded while maintaining a healthy level of skepticism.

@Old Spirits Investigations i actually told my girlfriend I'm going to uninstall the app for that reason. I'm no investigator but i watch ghost hunting stuff every single day and know full well that you shouldn't mess with things you don't understand and know how to get rid of. i live next to a funeral home and a funeral parlor and for years myself and a handful of my other friends have had experiences at my house so i just recently gotten all of these apps and at first i thought it was like all other ghost phone apps but i have to say i have gotten some errie response and question like am i dead, or what is your name. my friend got it with the premium and he had like a crazy alarm sound going off for his wile mine was absolutely quiet so it was weird and his was in my room so I thought that was unexplained
GhostTube really is an amazing app and it is extremely versatile. I would recommend, though, using other devices to corroborate with what the app is picking up. Invest in an EMF reader or, if you can make the investment, a REM Pod or MEL Meter. That way you can see if the app and the other devices are picking up on the same thing. As for picking up hits from the funeral home, considering all the emotions positive and negative from there, it would not surprise me if you were near a very active spot.
Well isn't that strange? We had exactly the same phrases as you just mentioned, not in the premium version that I wouldn't waste one cent on, most likely because the app only has a very limited vocabulary.

It usually seems like it just spits random words out. I’ve tried the spirit talker app and had it running on two phones. One spit out twice the amount of words then the other but in that time across both phones I got my dads name and “I’m family” here in my home. My fathers ashes are here and if I’ve ever spoken about him around my phone it’s been “my dad” not his name. So that was the one time it felt not so random. But for the most part it just seems random.
I can’t necessarily speak for Spirit Talker as I don’t use it on the regular. I’ve tried it out, and seen it in the field, and the Word Bank in it feels more sensational. Words like demon, devil, evil, get out, etc. are common hits in ST. GhostTube had always come across more genuine and sincere. If you are wanting to broaden GT’s Word Bank, you can enter in additional words (including names) but as for its randomness, that can happen sometimes with ITC devices. Some places, the results come across as random. Sometimes, the results are very poignant. Your mileage may vary.

This is the tricky approach of word banks. Sometimes, the words produced make sense. Sometimes, it appears random. This is why it’s important to use GT with other tools. Very important.
We actually found multiple murders in different locations leading us to this point let’s say we are never going back

I saw @Danny-Gonzalez feature that app on one of his channels. It’s called The Ghost Detector app and is _most definitely_ an “entertainment” app, not suited at all for paranormal investigations.

I believe there is a language filter/setting where you can use a different language. For that, I would ask @GhostTube directly. But the versatility *is* there.

@@_martin208 So, when it comes to the paranormal, you need to tread carefully as there are so many unknown factors involved and we - those of us looking at and studying the paranormal - try to keep things simple. Basic contact. Not with recently-passed family members or searching for that connection, but a connection with someone/something unseen.
I say this as you are, from what you’re telling me, trying to contact/converse with someone close to you and recently deceased. I, personally, would not recommend you doing so with devices like GhostTube as you are in a stage of grief. This could severely limit objectivity. Please take a moment to grieve this family member first. GhostTube can wait until a later instance if you are still interested in the paranormal.

I use Ghost Tube in my home because of the paranormal activity between 12am and 2:00am in unbelievable strange. The energy makes itself clear through a smoke alarm and a wall. My dog is frightened and I pray. The prayer makes this bad energy leave the bedroom. This energy sets off fire alarms when there is no fire, the sound is deafening. This happens between hours I mentioned. One of the words this weekend Nov 23rd 2024 were move out, possessed, they asked what year it was. Great app

I believe in ghosts, but I find this app hard to believe. The ghost meters went crazy at weird places (like accidendally my armpit). And yesterday I got "I stand behind you" twice while I was laying in bed, and then a "Satan". I don't know. The words seem so random
What was funny though, when I was getting undressed to go to bed, I got the word "Heavy" (I'm fat). 😂
The more you use Ghost Tube, the more credible it feels. At least, this is our experience. YMMV. We have also picked up alerts at weird places, some we have debunked and others have been extremely random.
There are other locations where the word bank has been completely random, and some locations the words have been locked in. Whether it is Ghost Tube or Ovilus, the random nature of the word bank is by design. It is when it really feels like a back and forth you pay close attention.

We’re big fans of the GhostTube apps here. Some of the results from them, especially from SEER, have been hard to dismiss (especially when used alongside other devices). As for what we were doing at Mt. Weather, have a look at th-cam.com/video/hzaIPxKrVKA/w-d-xo.html (We were the last team to properly investigate the area as now luxury homes are built there. Sadly, when at the site, GhostTube was not in our arsenal.)

Just tried this and left it on and it said can you hear me i said no the app can and it said oh then i left it on for 5 minutes with no response from the ghost and i opened up a drink and i spilled it and said oh thit i need a rag where can i find it "i asked my girl" then the ghost responded behind you. I said where. It said desk. I said i see it, thanks. Then i called my nieces to speak to it and it said "stop" then go away" i said why it said "bye" i figured it didn't want to be bothered or maybe warning from someone or something else but who knows😅 i left it alone.
This app is the biggest load of garbage. It turns out the same terminology, taps into your photos to distort them with it's AI technology, because you gave them the permission to do that, and basically it is very misleading, with the capacity to cause psychological harm to vulnerable users. It usually starts peaceful enough, until you challenge any term being thrown about, and then you get the very predictable, sinister turn for the worst, to the point of the 'spirits' being directly offensive, calling people 'fool' or 'idiot'. We don't tend to have basements here in Australia, but that's a typical suggestion of where they are, and we generally don't have people named 'Randy' or 'Ralph' which are names more widely used in America. The terms referred to in the comments below (e.g. "can you hear her?) are exactly what I have also seen on my screen. It's not all that creative and people get sucked in by it. I am about to use an app by genuine paranormal investigators in Sweden who apparently aren't out to make a quick buck. I'm into science, not money-grabbing quackery thanks.
Hello, Susan. Thank you for watching the video and for dropping a comment; but I'm curious as to what you mean by "tapping into your photos" as the GhostTube app doesn't have this capability, and GhostTube SEER is using an AI algorithm that is using images on the Internet (as you need to be connected, and it never asks for permission for Photos access unless you wish to store images there). The responses vary from person to person, we have found, based on the Comments here. I would not say the words are as sensational as some other apps out there (I don't think in the past year of using GT we have seen the "D" word at all.) but your mileage may vary. Now, truth be told, I have been called "idiot" and "moron" repeatedly which has actually tracked with other device results, and I just attribute to rude ghosts which, yes, I am a magnet for. Again, thank you for the comment. I hope you find our other offerings here more pleasant than this review.
I had my doubts about this but I do believe in paranormal activities, I work in a shopping centre on my own at night, when i started it, a male voice said "Hes tough" later i asked it if it new my name, something or someone called me Johnny pretty close as im called John, i would say there is definitely some real stuff that comes through on this app without a shadow of any doubt now. 👻
@@jcowza5631 GhostTube had been very reliable for us at OSI, but I would not take what GT tells you as *proof* that something remains. Even Amy and Jarrad suggest on booting up GT for the first time, that their app should be used with other devices in the field in order to corroborate what could possibly be there.
I recommend GhostTube, but I think the app shines when used alongside other gear and methods.
It's legit. I asked for my father and the app said it's name. Also I sensed his presence too.
We recommend before using GT to try and connect with missing loved ones, work with neutral locations and work in with GT other devices. As said in the review, the app is best used with other devices.
When getting into the paranormal, it is also advised to keep investigations neutral as personal connections are harder to authenticate on account of bias.
However, picking up on a presence matters. Just try to find out what’s out there with a critical eye.
When you play ghosttube for the first time with your freind, you will get scared at first, but when you play it for 3 or more days, you will get used on it
First time I used it I just said how many fingers am I holding up and a guy clear as day and instantly said, "what? You can't count?" I was like, nope.... and turned it off and left the house. Haven't heard him since though and I ask for him. Also does anyone hear the deep DEEP voices that speak a very strange language. Almost backwards...

I close the app and after 10 minutes I opened the app again and I get: "why?" "I am angry" "I am here" what do you think? I am entertained so the app is successful for me! @@monkeyxmonkey1 Keep in mind a couple of things. The Word Bank feature randomly generates words. The prevailing theory is that the longer you use a device like that (be it GhostTube, ParaTek, or the Ovilus) a pattern or synchronicity occurs. A device that says “demon” doesn’t necessarily mean you have a demon in your house.
That being said, unless you really want to know what is in your home, OSI doesn’t recommend using paranormal gear in your home. It could reveal some you don’t want to know. It could open a door you might not want to open. There are a lot of factors involved in investigating a site where you live; and you might not believe in any of this. (And that’s cool - skepticism goes a *long* way in paranormal investigation.) But if a device comes out swinging (like GhostTube did), that’s not proof. That is one part of the investigation process.

Why do I hear a busy signal through the app once and a while?
Do you mean a set of beeps? Do you notice anything on the UI/display when the sound happens?
To me, it sounds like a landline phone's busy signal. My bestie has the paid version of the app and never hears that specific sound. It happens out of nowhere. I've tried recreating it to no avail.
@@heatherelwing5841 Hmmm…okay…the only sound that I can think of that the app would make is the EMF reader. There’s a magnet icon with a bar indicator that goes green - yellow - red, the sound popping when the bar hits red. The EMF reader is working with the internal magnet in your phone (similar to how your phone’s compass works) and triggers at moments of high EMF. It *also* triggers when close to contact with certain metals. (My GhostTube sang me a song in Savannah, and then I noticed I was by an iron gate.) That could be the sound your app is making.
If it is a true “busy signal” your app is making, I can only guess something is weird with the app and I’d delete and reinstall it. If that doesn’t fix the issue, reach out to Amy and Jarred of GhostTube and Amy’s Crypt. They might be able to help you out.

Sometimes it's disturbing but I think it has moods but I haven't spoken with it for about 6 months or something maybe less like maybe 3 or 4 months ago I tried this app and it seems like it's acting up again
I don't know how the dictionary works can you explain to me because last time I talked to ask me really long questions like now it's somewhat like how are you how do you feel but now it seems to be only that last time it was what year is it which really freaked me out
We've had it say 'how are you' 'I'm lost', those are all words in the app's word bank. GT utilizes your phones magnetometer. Theory is the spirits can manipulate that field to pick out words. There are 850 pre-recorded words in there, but you can also add your own. Keep in mind fluctuations in the earth's magnetic field, and other devices can affect it. We like to use GT with other devices to confirm that. Pip says when it told her to sit down, it was actually kind of nice. :) Hope that helps!

@@HorchataHour yeah, when you are in your own home "testing" various equipment, you need to be ready for discovering something you may not have wanted to know.
As far as asking about "recently departed" friends, that is always a tricky area to navigate. How do you know if it is your friend or loved one? How do you know you are not being deceived by something more sinister? There are a lot of aspects of the paranormal which still remains misunderstood or still unknown..which is why it is deemed paranormal.
If you are interested in getting into paranormal investigation, consider starting with the basics. Go on a ghost tour or two, join a public paranormal investigation, look into the various historical places in your area. And above all, be careful.

I got the same things repeatedly said in space of 1 hour. I heard same collection of words/sentences said over and over and much of what I heard whilst using app I've read here in the comments that others have heard too. Not comvinced tbh on this app.

Sometimes, GhostTube can get “stuck” and it very well could be someone/something trying to communicate, and it is frustrated that it can’t.
The paranormal is full of unknowns and maybes, and that is what we are trying to do when we investigate - find out what is going on. Sometimes, that can be nothing.
Other times, it can be something we can’t explain.
Today i used it the first time. first ghost introduced itself as a soldier, i asked him where he is and he said down there then he told me to move to the right side on my bed, then he asked me if i feel him and i felt something soo weird and heavy on my chest like energy and ig he was trying to molest me somehow LMAO im not joking i wasnt scared tho i just laughed it off and then he just left and then some other ghost was talking to me
Now comes the fun part: do a little research. Find out some history about your home. Were there any incidents in or around your property? Have a look into what has happened in your area. 👻😊👻

That's not a fake app I use it on my phone it call me a cluster nut cause I had a lot of papers on my bed I do keep a lot of papers
Ghost radar apps i wouldn't give them the time of day.
Did a look into these and the tech is like IR for iPhones. Unless it's a FLIR attachment, it's not reliable.

I think all of these 'ghost' hunting devices are lame. I don't believe in 'ghosts' or the paranormal. However, I do watch a particular channel for the entertainment value. They use several different devices and the 'ghost' tube is one of them.
This device will say words even when no one is in the room. Not useful words but it will repeat itself over and over. Without anyone in the room, the device will say, "no. no. no."
These guys will also use a VR headset that shows them images obviously created by AI. I don't know what the purpose is of this headset and it's weird.
I think 'ghost' hunters waste a lot of money on devices for no reason.
Oh and what about the device that shows a 'stick' person that's supposed to be a 'ghost'. What the hell is THAT????
Right. You’re throwing a lot out here, so let’s hit them all one by one.
Whether you believe or not, apps in the field are truly hit or miss. I’m good with the GT suite as it is developed by investigators for investigators. So the app that says “No, no, no…” I’m not familiar with because the original GT is a very solid, very reliable app for us. If you look at any of our episodes, it really comes through.
We also reviewed GT SEER here, and while I would be the first to tell you “This isn’t *really* an objective app…” it is a lot of fun to use in an investigation. It’s best used with other devices, but SEER is good fun and gets your brain going. As for the cost, these apps are all running at $25/year. That is _cheap_ in the grand scope of things.
Do some ghost hunters spend money carelessly? Oh yeah. But we at OSI are on a budget.
As for the stick figure app, that’s the Ghost Tube SLS which uses the same technology as the XBox Kinnect. I hated that technology as a gamer. It’s so dodgy. And there is no way anyone can convince me that the same technology behind Kinnect is optimized for ghost hunting. Nope.
Yeah, if you don’t believe in what we are doing, that’s fair. As far as the apps, yeah GT works for us. It’s been quite an adventure. Thank you for this comment and thank you for sharing your thoughts with me.
