      Dom This is why I hate the injury excuse for all-time greats. With no Boogie and KD, an injured Curry still found the will to get the win.

      Here we go with this narrative. Yes kd was their best player but you have stop acting like they’re garbage without him. The best the rockets 5 times. Like 2 or 3 of them without kd. Now on to the curry part, I don’t know why these warriors fans act like curry has never went off before. The reason why we criticize him is because we know what he can do and since he set the bar so high, he makes it harder and harder to meet the standard. Remember this nigga is back to back unanimous Mvp. He doesn’t meet his own standards

    D’Antoni takes the biggest legacy hit for me. How many times do you have to see Steph pass to Draymond for an easy 4 on 3 bucket before you stop doubling Curry on the pick and roll? I know that switching from guarding to the KD Warriors to the Curry Warriors can be difficult, but good god. That defense at times just looked like they didn’t care and just wanted to go back to being on offense.

    • @uglygod7930
      @uglygod7930 5 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      Definitely wouldn't say D'Antoni, if anybody Clint Capela stock has lowered significantly since he is a 7 footer who was damn near invisible on the court the whole series which allowed constant pick and roll shits and free points at the basket

    • @jdelia54
      @jdelia54 5 ปีที่แล้ว +27

      Capela was terrible. No doubt about it. But D’Antoni also needs to take him off the court or find a different matchup. Kerr also had some well-timed timeouts, particularly the one with around 9:57 left, while D’Antoni still had 3 left with around 5 minutes left in the game.

Curry’s ISO contested 3 to go up 107-102 wasn’t necessarily the ‘best basketball play’, but it was an MVP doing what MVP’s do. I didn’t need full hero ball from Harden, because you do want to still get good shots. But at some point you still need to have your MVP moments and Harden didn’t come through with any.

    I think some of u rlly don't understand how hard it is getting double and triple teamed throughout all the minutes when u are on the court. How hard it is to get a flash millisecond of an open look and shoot it. If u watch the Warriors this past two games closely and wisely, u would notice that how hard it is for Steph to get into his rhythm and notice that even if he score none points, he is still a plus with his gravity that changes the whole game. Do u guys even ever try to understand why teams always try to trap Steph but not KD or Klay as good of a player as they are? The 2nd half of last night game had just answered it for you... If u still don't understand and still keep disrespecting Steph curry, man that's fine I give up.

      if theres no kd its bucks in 5...if theres kd bucks in 7 or warriors in 7...no way in hell the bucks are the cavs or rockets ...their an actual team ..they got 20 from gianiss and got 116 an won by 25 somehow...that would never happen on bron or harden teams....not against the best teams ...heres what ill say to people claiming they have no experience...thats a good thing cause the cavs and rockets have both lost 3-4 times now in the past 5 years to these warriors so theres that familiarity to them playing iso and the bucks dont isolate much......the bucks are new especially with mirotic...and hill as well...I think their main 9 have played like 5 games together all year...its a new team...with a real coach and 2 way star....also the biggest thing is their point differential in their 8 wins this postseason...their winning by over 21 ppg...over 8 games thats a lot in the playoffs....the warriors have won 5 of their last 6 games by a total of 28 points thats only 5.6 on average...huge difference cause they also lost 4 games to the clippers and rockets....in terms of defense bucks was first in defense efficiency the other more mid tier....the bucks had a top 3 offense and thats before hill and mirotic got there and led the nba at 118 ppg….and were top 2 in making/shooting 3's 1st in %....I think people who think they can slow down gianiss dont realize they have no one to guard him ... iggy kd cant guard him...neither can their bigs...green will get in foul trouble often if hes on him too much..just my two cents maybe their not ready for that moment vs that team but maybe they are

    10:58 Of course the fans want Harden to go into hero mode at the end of games. He did it all regular season, and by the way he presents himself to the media, it's warranted. He'd been praising himself all year, so he had his chance to back it up and show the world that he was the man. If that's not what he wanted, he shouldn't have brought attention to himself by saying that people weren't paying enough attention to the "great things" he was doing (couldn't find the exact quote so please forgive me if I misquoted him).

    end of the game warriors kept scoring after rockets scored. 1:45 left Paul scored to make it 104-102 warriors lead but next possession Curry hit a 3. 58 secs left Harden scored to make it 104-107 but next possession Klay hit a 3. Couldn't get defensive stops in the end. Harden shot 7-12 on FTs 58%. Only 3rd time Harden shot under 60% in FTs with 10+ FTAs. From 5:00 to 3:42 in the 4th neither warriors or rockets scored. Rockets didn't take advantage of that by scoring. Rockets could have scored in that run but didn't. Curry was electrifying in the 4th quarter. Klay was on fire in first half. With like 2 minutes left in the game rockets turned it over and warriors had two pt lead. Rockets offense didn't take advantage of the opportunities they got towards end the game. In the 4th quarter when rockets scored they couldn't stop warriors offense and when rockets defense did stop warriors offense rockets really didn't score

    Even LeBron, being a "make the best basketball play" type of player understands these things. Game 5 vs Pistons, game 6 vs Boston, etc. This is my problem with James Harden: how can you be content with jacking up (good and bad) shots all season as the leader of your team, and then once it's a big moment you just give up the ball? That doesn't make sense. This is why you still can't mention him in the same sentence as Kobe, Wade or even Iverson. Harden is supposed to be Houston's killer, yet in a big close playoff game he finally decides to play team ball.
