Hey there, Dreamer! The video you’re viewing may be slightly outdated as the Dreamiverse has been recently updated. Check out Dreams update v2.64's patch notes for the most up-to-date information: drms.me/dreams-v264
Thank you for such a powerful upgrade to Dreams! For some reason, all videos about Audio Importer are available only through "Handy How To's" playlist and not shown in the "all videos" section. So a lot of people may miss them
Cool, imagine a cooperation between Pixologic Zbrush for PC and Dreams: you sculpt a detailed Dragon with your fancy and precise Tablet in Zbrush and bring it to life with Dreams. That would be advertising with reach for a wide variety of industries. You have to open yourselves more to the development reality (games/motion design/film/music). Thanks for the epic work so far.
Dang, dreams is turning out to be better than unity itself. They figured out how to get let’s just say like, a little big planet sound from a computer, to a console that’s iffy when it comes to importing and exporting, even when it comes to flash drives. Wow. GJ media molecule
Will our daily import limit ever increase as time goes on? I notice on Mm's stream that they had 150 imports. I realize devs need absolute freedom when working on the game, but just wondering for those Dreamers who work like CRAZY getting super detailed and polished Dreams made.
Although it states that the importer should not be used to import audio made from third party software, would there be any exceptions down the line for using the audio importer to import our own tracks from LittleBigPlanet? Edit: Actually it may not be possible to do this with the allowances, but my core question still remains :)
Are there any plans to accept other audio files in the future? I heard mention of wav files being accepted but it would also be nice to have files like mp3, ogg, or FLAC to be accepted, too.
Attention! We are temporarily removing the audio importer on the 22nd May, 2023. We expect to restore it before October 2023. To find out more, please visit: docs.indreams.me/en/whats-happening/news/dreams-support-update

This means I can actually have HQ sound effects or voice overs and that makes me really happy 😍
@Vosh There is no 15 seconds limit per day.
@Vosh its 20 sec, for recording. You can have 30 min of recording in total a day., you can have 90 slices
@Vosh ur welcome
@@NicerBeisser It increases the more you level up, if you dont know.
Thank you for Dreams.. It's an amazingly powerful platform for creators and players alike. Please keep supporting and upgrading for years to come.

This is great! I've got a decent collection of field recordings and now I can use them. ¡Gracias!
Prefect timing for me, my quick 8-bit sounds I am working on had more silence than audio using the existing method. :D
I wish they added an importer for jpeg/png files. It would be SO easy and an amazing feature to add.
It would help with assets, character sheets, 2d facial animation, textures, matte-paintings, photos, fonts, and so much more!
@@kingdanett4043 Yeah, but it would also be a pain with all the meme games, and copyright stuff.
Been waiting for this for a long time!
Now this is an AMAZING bit of kit!

or the opposite, being able to create in dreams and then export the sculpture to an .stl or .obj, maya file etc
Thank You!!
Nicely done! The features actually exceeded my expectations!
Finally! That's awesome 👏
So we can't upload full length music?
I make my music in Cubase and want to upload it to dreams... Can I do that?
Happy Claire Noises.

cant believe Dreams didnt even get GOTY
It really should.
There's way too many limitations right now.. I couldn't see it hitting that when it acts like a PS4 Blender
YYEEEEEAS! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YE-
How come when I record ONE SECOND of audio it says too much audio, even if it's a wav file and I haven't used it in like a week.
Are there any plans to accept other audio files in the future? I heard mention of wav files being accepted but it would also be nice to have files like mp3, ogg, or FLAC to be accepted, too.
Export audio would be great too
A dirty but useful way is to use the share function on your ps4, then use any software to extract the sound from the mp4
@@DonChups I used Dreams to make music for my video in the past with the method you suggested.
@@DonChups I know that but the audio from the mp4 Is only 128kbps, It's a really very low quality.
It takes me straight to the record page instad of letting me drag and drop a file :(
Is there any possible way to use your phone to import audio to Dreams?
yes it shows up but haven’t tried it yet.
Amazig
Can you import videos to dreams?

How is 5 seconds of audio too long?! Can someone please explain
I'm experiencing the same problem too. Kinda infuriating ngl.
Same :(
they are trying to avoid people uploading full length music from other artist as that can get mm multiple lawsuits
@@leo-n8er73 oh, i forgot i even made this comment

Now we just wait for an option to compile and import games made in Dreams to PC lol
