It would be funny if Mrs Millyard had a baking channel on TH-cam and then during a video went outside to comment on Allen doing bike maintenance in the garden.
Brilliant, I don't know any other TH-cam channel where you have a mixture of motorbikes, baking, and wildlife, interesting and entertaining, thank you...
Reminds me of Brands Hatch in 1967 when I watched Mike the Bike ride a 250 six to victory in the 250, 350, 500 and unlimited races in pouring rain. As I recall Minter pushed him hardest until he fell off at Clearways.
Allen's (genuinely) so sure of his months of work building the bike that he's happy to properly rev it. Sign of a true engineer who's confident in what he does.
@@Dave5843-d9m I imagine he's very confident of his work being very good but I still think he loves the sound that would be the impetus for revving the engine. For being under 400 CC's it does sound like a beast.

As a frenchman but a motorcycle enthusiast, I already knew your name and some of your bikes of course, who doesn't ? But I only discovered your videos today and it's a revelation... I never thought it was possible to achieve this level of perfection with only basic tools. In fact it's impossible without your talent. I hope we'll see a lot of your now famous "hacksaw precision engineering" in the future. Thank you for this and the cupcakes !
Ironically that was a pretty easy task to make that screw. All you need is a lathe, vise, hacksaw and a buffing wheel and a few months of machine shop classes. BTW aluminum being a soft metal is a joy to work with the titanium maybe more a challenge.
I think Mr and Mrs Millyard should adopt me, as I could watch them all day. (I’m nearly 60 but that shouldn’t affect the legal process!) It’s tiring just watching a genius at work, let alone two, but I’m willing to make that sacrifice. Keep up the fantastic work! 👍
Allen may appear to be a hugely talented engineer but in fact he is an alien that can create anything with basic tools in his shed, even his hacksaw can saw a straighter surface than a human can achieve on a milling machine
Imagine Julia Child saying on her cooking show "While we're waiting for our oven to heat up to 400 degrees, let's use our welder and our hacksaw to make a V-6 Suzuki GT750". That 6 sound is mesmerising but there appear to be only a few recordings of one "disappearing up the mountain" at full throttle with that haunting howl wafting on the wind, now that is truly memorable! Thank you Allan and Mr Honda for both showing mechanical genius.
I love the little break where you show us how Mrs Millyard makes Viennese whirls and then you show us how to make a 6mm Titanium screw; amazing engineering skills, something for everyone! Fantastic 👍
I can't describe how loud that 6 is! Alan ran it indoors at Alexandra palace about 3 years ago. It actually killed the microphone on my phone. It's beyond loud

Seeing you making the aluminium screw from start to finish was a reminder of my time on a few lathes etc over the 6 months in the machine shop. I really enjoyed the complete job making the screw, not so interested in the cake making though. I saw Mike Hailwood at Brands hatch on a 4 cylinder Honda I seem to remember.
