Actually he wrote this as a tribute to MJ and he did the moonwalk at the very end but the shot was so far away that a lot of people miss it. Nice to see you enjoying his performance. He had to be tired by the time he got to this song. It was near the end of his concert and trying to move that 6'3" frame like MJ takes a lot of energy.

This song is fun. Great for the western market. Dimash is just becoming more and more rounded. His English is getting better and better. Give him until October when he is in Ny I imagine it will be even better by then. Only thing he needs to do is look at some of his older songs like Adagio and Show must go on and learn those not through phonetics. Only a few lines of those need worked on. Add them to this and Laydown and he will be ready to take NY by storm. Just amazing as always. I still kind of want that to stay zat. I like his accent but that is probably a bit selfish. I loved your reaction! I think its very Micheal Jackson, but it seemed to me that Dimash might have wanted it to, because his dancing and outfit seemed similar to what MJ might wear. I wouldn't be surprised if MJ was the direct influence of it, and maybe Dimash wanted to pay homage to his idol. I think its nice he's creating more... non-balled songs. We all know he can hit those high notes, and sing operatic-styled songs. I think it would be nice if we get used to Dimash singing more songs that don't require (super extra) high notes at the end, such as the build-up most of his ballads/most-songs-up-till-now do. I really don't want Dimash to be tied down or expected to sing to "one style" of music/sound. The sooner people get used to Dimash maybe singing lots of different types of music/genres, and become as versatile as we know he is, I think it can only help. Although I still demand many songs with build-ups and epic high notes. Variety is super nice though. Also, don't forget to react to "Lay Down" - it's from the same concert and is more pop/rock-ish. Also in English, and carries a beat like this song. I really hope that one is on his album, or I can buy it somewhere. :D

I loved your reaction! I think its very Micheal Jackson, but it seemed to me that Dimash might have wanted it to, because his dancing and outfit seemed similar to what MJ might wear. I wouldn't be surprised if MJ was the direct influence of it, and maybe Dimash wanted to pay homage to his idol. I think its nice he's creating more... non-balled songs. We all know he can hit those high notes, and sing operatic-styled songs.
I think it would be nice if we get used to Dimash singing more songs that don't require (super extra) high notes at the end, such as the build-up most of his ballads/most-songs-up-till-now do.
I really don't want Dimash to be tied down or expected to sing to "one style" of music/sound. The sooner people get used to Dimash maybe singing lots of different types of music/genres, and become as versatile as we know he is, I think it can only help. Although I still demand many songs with build-ups and epic high notes. Variety is super nice though.
Also, don't forget to react to "Lay Down" - it's from the same concert and is more pop/rock-ish. Also in English, and carries a beat like this song. I really hope that one is on his album, or I can buy it somewhere. :D
Music by Dimash, Lyrics by Jordan Arakelyan, Arr. by Erlan Bekchurin. It's not hard to look up. When people say somebody wrote a vocal song, doesn't that mean they wrote the lyrics too ? On the video on Dimash's TH-cam channel it says composed by him, but if you click where it says "Show more" underneath, it gives the rest of the information.
