we are doing our first cruise on carnival on the splendor here in australia in april 2025 to the pacific islands on a 9 night cruise, really looking forward to it :) the decor and shinyness and color of the ship is what attracted me to this ship and why i choose the splendor to do our cruise :)
I Went on Carnival Luminosa at Nov. last year, and I learnt that they swap the shows once in 5 years, and switch it up a little roughly every 2 years, Due to it's hard to get larger props into the ship, and sometime they need to cut a hole in the ship at a dry port in order to get the large props into the ship.
is there a weight restriction for the waterslides?? my fiance weighs 154kg so he may not be able to go on them. also was the pools and spas nice and warm?? or a bit on the cold side?
If I remember correctly, the weight limit for the slide is 120kg. The pools are filled with sea water and aren't heated. As for the spas, I didn't try them personally, but if I remember correctly, they are heated.
I will be going on this New Year's cruise, doesn't look like as many things to do on the ship as the current ship I'm on(ovation of the seas) but its going to be less then half the price.
we missed every show they were half hour late every night , i hated how boring it was , cruising before covid on carnival was so good , the ships were much better than what we have now

The ship is a lot smaller, so unfortunately it can't fit as much.

When you dine in the main dining area with a soft drink package do they bring drinks to your table or do you have to go to a bar?
They have waiters that take orders and deliver them to your table.
