- In this video, I talk about how it was for me getting into medical school at Maastricht University. I also talk about some handy things to have in mind when going through the election procedure. Even though, the selection procedure might be hectic for all, some more than others, but it is going to be worth it studying medicine here in The Netherlands and specifically at Maastricht University.

It is worth mentioning that Boswell beta isn’t universally recognised by all Dutch universities whereas ccvx is, so if you plan on getting Boswell beta certificates it might be a good idea to check with the university you are applying to

Since I am applying as a non-EU English medium student, will you please let me know the interview process in detail? The website says that the interview process is very hectic and that we need to sit for two-three (written) exam papers as well. Please be kind enough to give me a few interview tips and a few ideas on what the exam paper itself will consist of and how I could prepare for it (past paper resources etc).
Since there are limited seats available for medicine students, especially for English medium, what are the chances that I could learn Dutch and then proceed with the medicine program? Would that be beneficial for me in the long run?

What I understood from you in this video is that the government equated your certificate to the level of HVAO, and then after that you sent papers and requirements to the university, so the university recognized that your certificate is equivalent to the VWO, and that the six months you studied at Cameron University also helped you in that.

What are the papers that modified your equation? Are they secondary school transcripts or university transcripts?
Heyy yes you understood that rightly. For that, I had to submit a lot of documentation; highschool transcripts, university transcripts, recommendation letters, etc. It was a long and tiring process but in the end, completely worth it.

If you study ITM, you do not have to. If you want to do your masters here and become a doctor here, it is advisable to start as soon as possible and also ultimately necessary to do your masters and practise here.

My wish is to finish my medicine studies there even if I has to start from 0 again, but I'm concerned about how much it will cost. Would you please give a idea of that? I applied for ITM and the Dutch one. With regards to this question, I’d refer you to the student ambassadors. They can inform you better on this.

Not anymore. I think they stopped a few years back. Rumour has it they are planning to go back tho

I don’t think so, not as far as I know. You just have to complete it before the deadline. But I would ask the university to be sure, maybe things changed this year

There is an English bachelors program but the masters program is only in Dutch at the moment.

Yes there is an English variant of the Bachelors program but the masters is only in Dutch.

At the moment no. Even though you can do the bachelors in English, you always have to do the masters in Dutch.

Heyy it is possible theoretically but quite challenging practically. You would have to apply to get in as a first year medical student.
