I grew up there. I had no idea what they were talking about the elevation 😁. I’ve been in that actual canyon a few times. The gnats (biting flies) are bad in the summer, but a few hard frosts and they’re gone .... I mean, they’re awful, you’d hate it, don’t go there! BTW, don’t take the deer there unless you like the taste of sagebrush.
Too bad our birds got wiped out.

95% of all these birds are wiped out in the state of Idaho keep it real haunted Chuck are there 25 years ago when there still were birds in the canyons great dogs and a few gals it could even hook a steelhead or two what's that got to do with the show God I don't know 😁
You would kill more birds if those dogs were staunch and let you flush
