Hello and welcome to my channel Sew Little Time where I share all of my sewing makes, charity shop upcycles, knitting, crochet and craft projects. I also include a little of my daily life.
Todays video is all about my forget-me-not patterns April dress which i have made for the Felicity Fabrics group blog post. We were given some fabric to go away and make a dress with (both of our own choice) and had a lovely little label to attach to the outside of our dress. Please check out the group blog post to see what everyone made....link below.

I’ve made the straight Aline version and really enjoyed making it. I wish I had included the inseam pockets. I’m definitely making another at some point. I want to make the gathered skirt version. I also colorblocked mine😀. I love your version! The colors are really nice!

Thanks so much Michelle, it's a great pattern isn't it. I think I'll make another too...I'll try adding those pockets lol! I love the colour block option, so many possibilities ☺️👍 xx

I agree with the grown on sleeves but you could adjust the sleeves and make a sleeveless dress from it if you found it puts you off wearing it.

Thank you Debra...I've worn it a few times this week and I've got used to the sleeves and since wearing it, it has creased around that area so it hides the excess if that makes sense 😄👍 xx

Such a unique design! You make a good point about grown on sleeves. I also find they can pull on me under the arm. Adding a cuff definitely helps and using a very patterned fabric does too. A very pretty dress 💗

Thank you Cyndy 🤗...since wearing it they don't look so obvious as they've creased in towards the armpit a bit lol, so it doesn't look as big around that area. It's been perfect for our warm September 😄👍 xx

Super-cute dress, Karen! They wavy seam line is so different and unique! I love the idea of using ribbon for the hem! I’m going to try that! 💗

Your dress looks great Karen…but I would be hyperventilating at that wavy seam 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣🤣 well done for achieving a great finish as always..take care xx

Lol, thanks Sally...it wasn't too bad to sew the wavy seamline...clipping into the curves first and then pinning like mad certainly helped 😄. Glad you like my dress, it's actually been very comfortable to wear xx
