Papa Dave saying what needs to be said respectfully. “You need a sense of control to move into your new self, dontcha?”
Man I needed that too. Used to be an alcoholic who would try most any drug offered to me. Now, I’m a mom & wife so excited about the baby steps I wrote them on post it notes for my desk & my husband’s work truck. Then in church I was like, 💡’wait am I being controlling? Because this is all in God’s hands, not mine.’
Such a freeing feeling. If this comment resonates with anyone else, keep listening to The Ramsey show. God bless you Dave.💙

The car can be reconfigured due to his circumstances to make things easier overall at a very low cash cost. It puts more in my pocket to keep my student loan and put more money toward investments due to this interest freeze, the small size of the loan, my monthly budget, and the possibility of it being cancelled.
I can spare 20% in interest before paying it off it in full so that just makes sense to me🤷‍♂️ most ppl would’ve recommended that I wait until after college to invest as well but that was one of the most beneficial decisions that I’ve made.
