I hope this video helps give you guys some information that you may not have known. These businesses can absolutely work, and I know many people doing very well with them, however this is my personal opinion for online business beginners.

Right on! I love Merch.. I recommend filling the 10 available spaces with your best shirt designs (they don't have to be in any specific niches) and giving them 60 days. If they don't make sales within 60 days, swap out with new designs. Once you get 10 sales, your account will bump up to the next tier that allows 25 shirts at once. Then just repeat the process with 25, until you bump into the next tier of 100. There's no additional marketing necessary like Teespring. I hope that helps!

No worries at all, for all print on-demand they average about $1/per active listing/per month (and that goes for Teespring, Merch by Amazon, and RedBubble). Hope that makes sense, for example 100 shirts on each site is about $300/mo total (or $100/mo from each site). Some months on Merch are just crazy high for no apparent reason, which i absolutely love about being on Amazon marketplace.
The only two people that really made me learn alot is wholesale ted and YOU that doesn't need to display cars or stacks of money to actually give value to other people. Keep up the good work! :D

I do howveer want to point out that not all MLM, network marketing businesses "earn a commission" for signing someone up. Amway for example does not pay out commissions for just a sign up, does not pass that up, and does not require you to buy products - I know this first hand! Just wanted to make you aware of that, as I'm sure you don't want false information on your channel :) thanks for the content!

There are only two guys whom I trust on TH-cam...Greg Gottfried and Jordan Mackey from Bye 9 to 5. Excellent as usual amen! I traded Forex daily for three years around 2008-2011. I'm good as a technical trader but didn't have exposure to mental parameters or a 1% trade rule etc. I am considering getting back in since reading and digesting "Trading In The Zone" though....definite eye opener. Hey, just wanted to say thanks. I've been thinking about Amazon FBA and even planning to set it up as soon as I save up some money, and it would be my first take on making money online. The more I researched it, the more it seemed like it shouldn't be my first option and hearing you say it helped me decide to leave it for later, when I hopefully have the experience and the money to try it. I'll stick to print on demand and blogging for now.
I have an interesting video idea. Can you explain how to do your taxes as an online business owner? No one really touches it and I could read an article as long as an encyclopedia but you're good at making things simple and easy to understand.

I quit Forex 8 years ago. My dropshipping Shopify store was a complete failure and I closed it last week. I got rejected at Merch by Amazon last month. And after this video, I can see all my other prospect online business options burning and burning! Thanks a loooooot! 😄😄😄
Drop shipping. I wholeheartedly agree with you that drop shipping is a bad idea. That is how I lost a lot of money back in 1999-2000 when I tried to sell computers online. I dropped shipped computers directly from the distributor. I needed a vendor's license to do that. I also had a merchant account from my bank so I could accept credit cards. A friend did it before me. I told him about Yahoo auctions back in the mid-90s. He got an agreement from a friend who worked at a used computer company from another state. He would sell them on the auctions and make $1000 per week. But when I quit my management job at Wendy's back in 1999 that was the exact time that Yahoo changed their user agreements and so did the computer company. It was harder to get computers and harder to sell them. And sometimes, the computer company would send the actual invoice to the customer when we had a $50-100 markup. Then the customer would get mad at us saying we cheated them. I got a local store to build computers so I could sell them. I sold a couple of them online. Two important lessons: Don't go into business with a friend. Don't drop ship. (I think I gave my testimony on here before, but this is more applicable to the subject at hand.)

Hi tks for the video, but I'm sticking with my plan to start a dropshipping business. Because paying for VAs or employees is a good problem to have and way better than not having any money to pay myself. So if I can afford and outsource VAs then it's worth it. Of course having the right mentors is the key!

Spot on! Especially my pet peeve the Lambo guys that launch their scammy over priced "courses". And the digital agencies, my wife and I are currently in a 6 month mentorship program that is expensive but the value is insane. We are learning how to generate quality leads for businesses with our mentor looking over our shoulder and giving input on our strategies, ads and funnels. It's not a game and entry into this market should be difficult, you need to earn your stripes first. Good video.

You're amazing Greg! I learned a lot from this video. I'd debate that dropshipping could be done by a beginner with enough research and previous business (not marketing) experience though haha. When I see videos like your print on demand video, I usually go online and begin researching on my own with various sources on that topic. While there are a lot of content out there, yours is one of the best I've seen. I've binged so many of your videos and will begin soon.

I traded Forex daily for three years around 2008-2011. I'm good as a technical trader but didn't have exposure to mental parameters or a 1% trade rule etc. I am considering getting back in since reading and digesting "Trading In The Zone" though....definite eye opener.
But for now I'm staying involved in POD products for now and am entering authoring some books also using POD in addition to ebooks.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks.
I've been thinking about Amazon FBA and even planning to set it up as soon as I save up some money, and it would be my first take on making money online.
The more I researched it, the more it seemed like it shouldn't be my first option and hearing you say it helped me decide to leave it for later, when I hopefully have the experience and the money to try it.
I'll stick to print on demand and blogging for now.
It seems like there are so many fees, you may only walk away with 10% profit. I was looking into it too, just doesn’t seem worth it as a beginner.
I have an interesting video idea. Can you explain how to do your taxes as an online business owner? No one really touches it and I could read an article as long as an encyclopedia but you're good at making things simple and easy to understand.

Drop shipping. I wholeheartedly agree with you that drop shipping is a bad idea. That is how I lost a lot of money back in 1999-2000 when I tried to sell computers online. I dropped shipped computers directly from the distributor. I needed a vendor's license to do that. I also had a merchant account from my bank so I could accept credit cards. A friend did it before me. I told him about Yahoo auctions back in the mid-90s. He got an agreement from a friend who worked at a used computer company from another state. He would sell them on the auctions and make $1000 per week. But when I quit my management job at Wendy's back in 1999 that was the exact time that Yahoo changed their user agreements and so did the computer company. It was harder to get computers and harder to sell them. And sometimes, the computer company would send the actual invoice to the customer when we had a $50-100 markup. Then the customer would get mad at us saying we cheated them. I got a local store to build computers so I could sell them. I sold a couple of them online.
Two important lessons: Don't go into business with a friend. Don't drop ship.
(I think I gave my testimony on here before, but this is more applicable to the subject at hand.)

Hi tks for the video, but I'm sticking with my plan to start a dropshipping business. Because paying for VAs or employees is a good problem to have and way better than not having any money to pay myself. So if I can afford and outsource VAs then it's worth it. Of course having the right mentors is the key!

Spot on! Especially my pet peeve the Lambo guys that launch their scammy over priced "courses". And the digital agencies, my wife and I are currently in a 6 month mentorship program that is expensive but the value is insane. We are learning how to generate quality leads for businesses with our mentor looking over our shoulder and giving input on our strategies, ads and funnels. It's not a game and entry into this market should be difficult, you need to earn your stripes first. Good video.
