SubhanAllah, this is such a perfect transition after the 'Hijab confidence' video I have just watched ! I agree about redefining beauty, for me being beautiful is feeling comfortable in my body no matter how it looks like (and yes skinny women can have major body confidence issues). Ma Sha Allah! This was such an informative video. Completely relatable. I used to have several body confidence issues, which basically started after I joined a Fashion Designing Class and I was just suddenly aware that my body didn't fit the size of the mannequin or the ideal size. After struggling a lot, and going on several crash diets, joining gyms, leaving them because I didn't even liked looking at the mirror. Alhamdulillah, I just found peace when I purified my intentions. It actually helps to think that you are not exercising, eating healthy for losing weight. No, but to stay healthy, instead. And stay healthy to strive in the path of Allah and be a better Muslim, In Sha Allahu Ta'ala. So, even after you face some downs in your process of changing yourself you have a goal, a good intention to work for. Because, if you work towards the acceptance of people - us humans are never satisfied, subhan Allah.
If your having body confidence issues, have sabr as it is a test for you. It is only going to last in this world. And what is the duration of this life compared to the akirah. Inshallah, us women, we will be like the hurul- ayn AND BETTER!!! We will look like how we want to look like. Allah has promised NO body confidence issues in Jannatul FIRDOUS, womb and men included. So INSHALLAH pray for us all to go to paradise. AMEEN By the way I love your videos, they are so inspirational nafisa. love you
u r soo perfect 🥰...i can see myself in you ..ur thoughts just like me ...i was also not confident about my body shape before but after allah gave me hidayat to wear hijab Alhamdulillah...now i dont care about what people think about me even eventually bcz of this i got my confident back and now people's behavior towards me also changed so i think if we focused on ourself not in what others think about us than u stared living actual beuty of life ..i cant express in words how i m happy to become hijabi ...now i just love the way i am🥰
Also, it is true that those with no body confidence and are the most attractive issues should ALSO have sabr as it is a test, just like YUSUF AS l. Mashallah what a beautiful talk from a beautiful strong women like u to all the beautiful women god created :) Thanks for that; am actually struggling with wearing the hijab, cause from that Moment on me, as a convert in a Christian Society (still discovering and learning how to practice Islam) gonna have to explain myself everywhere - thats the experience Ive made when I put a headscarf on then and when -because I myself do feel good with it (there's a lot of questions and I really feel everybody's looking haha mayb thats just paranoid) but inshallah one day through Allah my confidence gonna be strong enough to face that and dont mind what others think. I really love what u r saying in this Video from the necessity of us women to take our Definition of Beauty in our own hands and not to let (mostly) men or in General the cosmetics industry decide about it !! Please also make a video about the way prophets wives have been dressing after Ayat of hijab descended. and also refer to scientific benefits which hijab has both for men and women refer to the facts that looking to naked women makes men weak for making children and also Ray which is emitted from men eyes, makes women old if it hit women hair but hijab protects that.
From a religious point of view there is even in the koran no clear statement of wearing a veil. Also the prophet said, that his llaws are not for eternity, people have to think what mostly fits in the context of a certain epoch. Men could also take on a burka or veil, or maybe take a drug to reduce their sexuality for about 10 hours. all in the name of allah
