The Seeing AI app has been pretty good for me with simple text, and sometimes I switch back and forth to the bar code scanner part. If I remember to, I can try and hold the phone upwards from the end of aisles to get the overview of the headers of what's in that aisle. I generally memorize where a lot of stuff is, in the places I go. I have to start over sometimes when all the stores rearrange everything, once or twice a year. It's canned goods and two liters that I need my phone to help with the most, but I will also ask sometimes for help for trickier items, or if my phone is not working for some reason or the app update is messed up.
I got behind a couple of days. I almost forgot there's food defrosting on my counter in the kitchen. I gotta skillet that stuff. 😊

Awesome. That's great you have found what works for you. I hate it when stores move everything around though. hahaha messes me up all the time.
