- Take a ride on TRON Lightcycle/Run at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! Users are digitized and join up with the Blue Team to battle the Orange Team on The Grid! This launched roller coaster is themed to Tron:Legacy, and has different seats than a normal roller coaster, having guests sit in a motorcycle style seat!

It's a great ride, but the beginning is the best part and it's over so quick
Great launch, but I agree, the ride is really short. Especially compared to something like Guardians at Epcot.
You seem to spend just as much time boarding than riding.

I worked at the Shanghai location for many years, both during the construction phase and afterward. Despite being in heavily polluted Shanghai, the canopy for the Tron Lightcycle Power Run was never as dirty as the one in Florida. It’s surprising to see such a difference, considering Shanghai’s air quality. The maintenance team in Shanghai did an excellent job keeping everything clean and well-maintained, which seems to be lacking at the Florida location. It’s disappointing to see such an iconic ride not receiving the same level of care. But what a great attraction! They did an amazing job with its concept and creation.
That’s so cool that you worked at the Shanghai park. I don’t know enough about the climate in Shanghai, but I think the daily rain we get here makes it tough to keep the canopy clean. WDW has been lacking a bit in maintenance lately, though, so it could just be that as well.

Such a fun ride, only thing I didn't like is that you had to book a time slot to actually ride it. Made me sad for other people that are just going for the day and aren't able to book a time slot :(
Agreed. I always feel bad when I see families get turned away and they didn’t even know the. Virtual Queues were a thing. 😭

I swear I’ve ridden it about 40 times, and I still think it’s going to do another launch at the end. Another 45 seconds of ride time would make this so much better.

I've been working on that issue, so I do appreciate the comment. For some reason, the gimbal software I was using seemed to cut the audio out way too harshly. I think my new camera and mic have made things a lot smoother after an edit on my recent uploads.

That stinks. Tron seems to have issues most mornings when I'm at MK, I'm not sure what the problem is. I was there on Monday and right after I rode, it shut down for quite awhile. Hopefully you got to ride it, eventually!
